Waterfront City

One of the best places in Melbourne to have a walk by the water. Very well maintained walkways with beautiful buildings around. It was not busy at all which made the stroll even better. Didn't even use public transportation to get here because it is not that far from downtown core. Not that many stores or restaurants around which is not a bad thing. Beautiful Marina.

It's a must go to spot situated in the heart of Docklands showcasing some of the most spectacular views of the marina. There's a variety of cafes and restaurants nearby offering a great dining experience.

This place has got some really wonderful views that are really mesmerising. Some high rise buildings, luxurious restaurants and other tourist places nearby including the Marvel Stadium and Imaginaria, makes this place good for walk or a day-out with your friends, family or kids. You can also travel to Philips island and Geelong through the Ferries that are open to hire.

No matter what time you come for walk here or sit in front of water its relaxing and enjoyable. There are children's parks, basketball ball court, library, lovely view and other sports activity happening all day around. Some fine restaurants too. Whether you're a tourist, local resident or taking lunch from near by office this place has something to offer for everyone. I wish I could afford to buy an apartment here 😉

P.S. it is summer when I am posting this comment. My views may change in winter 😉. Have seen and walked here in wind, rain, on a severe hot day and as well as cold weather but 5* is given.

A great place to hang out in the evening to take a nice stroll along the water front and enjoy the view. There are quite a few nice restaurants around to enjoy a nice meal. The best place to watch the Docklands Winter Fireworks.

Waterfront City in Melbourne is a great place to visit. The location is ideal, situated right on the Marina, and the views are stunning.

This is my go to walking strip in the New Quay area. There is something so calming about this area that is welcoming to people of all walks of life. The community is strong here and it is warming to see the familes that get together to complement the scenic aesthetic of such marvelous architecture reflected off the water and lovely boats along the docks. There are some lovely restaurants with waterfront views along the way if you are feeling peckish and some homemade gelato store Limonetto right across from them if you need something sweet after dinner. It is suitable to walk along this strip at night as it is well lit and many people are still out to take the beauty in.

This part of the docklands can produce some of the most beautiful sunsets. Watched the Australia Day fireworks and it was great spot to sit and relax. Plenty of seating throughout the wharf. It can get windy some nights, but with views like these- it makes it totally worth it.

It's the best place for walking, especially during noon and night time.

Beautiful area , I lived there for a year . Quite place to live with nice restaurant around , the wharf is lovely and you can jogging around peacefully.

Beautiful place to go at night. I went on a Friday for the fireworks and they had live music and food. Worth the visit
