Webb Trail

Well-formed and level trail that skirts the edge of the water around Port Melbourne. There are great views back to the city skyline and a lookout at the point that provides views over the automated container terminal behind the fences. If you’ve come this far it’s worth walking 10 minutes to the end of the point. Also popular with fishermen. No food or drink spots out here, you’ll need to go back to the main part of Port Melbourne.

Aside from the odd windy day, a run along the beach is always rewarding. Stop and admire the view from the lookout point, say hello to the fishermen and try to resist patting every single cute puppy.

Its a nice walk along here to get to the lookout, there are some little fishing spots, bins and seating along the way. Info boards are dotted along the trail as you walk along the path.

People like to jog up the trail and back again, there are dog walkers and tourists just out and about. There is a bit of a stagnant seaweed stench at the beginning of the walk. Amazing views of Port Phillip Bay along the way as well.

What a gem of a walk! It's longer than it looks so good to get some fresh air and exercise. Wear proper walking shoes! The water and city views just get better as you progress; all the Fishermen are friendly and happy to discuss their catches! We caught a 63cm 4 kilo snapper! Enjoy 🙂

Great spot, fantastic view. Dog friendly. Make sure you stop in at Caps Cafe for home made food.

Great Trail for a walk and refreshment!

It's a fairly scenic trail alongside the coast and near the shipping container terminal. You can go right along the edge of the terminal as well and watch them unload containers.
