Muffins are fresh and full of flavour. Not big on the savoury ones, but these shops know how to bake a nice muffin top. Huge huge muffins

Love it

Been frequenting this Muffin Break for years, my eldest son loves the muffins, and youngest the babychino. Owner is a nice guy, and some of the staff are great, but some of the recent young casual employees look like they would rather be somewhere else - otherwise would be 5 star.

Suggestion - place signs along the counter to force people to order at the register. Nothing worse than lining up and waiting at the register to order, only to have someone cut the queue by ordering over the cabinets. Staff should tell these people to line up and order at the register.

Ordered coffee and ham and cheese croissant.
Coffee was good. Unfortunately the croissant was cooked in the sandwich press (as is the practise in some places these days), but it ruined the point of a light, flakey croissant.

They changed the choc chip muffins. :(
Not a good change.

We politely gave feedback that the muffins were not enjoyable and we would be discarding them despite having just spent $16.50 on them, and were told quite rudely that they have never in 12 years had a complaint about them. Had they graciously accepted the feedback and perhaps apologised I wouldn’t have come here to leave a bad public review. Reading the other reviews tells me they were lying anyway. Poor form

I was desperate for some last minute food after a busy day running errands. It was 4pm and I was one of only two customers at the counter waiting to order. After the person in front of me had ordered and stepped aside, I then stepped up expecting to be served. The girl at the counter looked at me and turned her back to go do something. I expected her to return to serve me but she did not come back, not even a courtesy to let me know that she needed a second to do something, nothing. I continued to wait and the lady on the coffee machine also saw me but did not smile or acknowledge my existence. I’m not Caucasian and my gut feeling was that had I been, then I would have been treated differently… I have had good service here before but with different staff. Won’t be visiting here again.
