Joey is an absolute pleasure to deal with and will spend the time talking to you about any questions you may have....
Have had 3 guitars/basses worked on by these guys and they do a great job.... From major repairs, pickups and electrics and even just a restring and setup.
Highly recommended!

Great customer service. We went into the music shop in Bellarine St Geelong where we used to buy all our musical things, looking for a stand for a Banjolele and also looking for assistance with tuning but, the guy came across as disinterested to help and also said they didn’t have the stand we were looking for but, we saw one on the shop floor. So we decided to go into the Music Workshop who were very helpful and also had the stand we were after. We’ll come here from now on.

It's been a while since he bought it.
Cajón - box-shaped percussion instrument, played by slapping the front or rear faces with the hands, fingers, or sometimes implements such as brushes, mallets, or sticks.
But we call it a "beat box" back in the Philippines!

Large selection of products and excellent staff. I've bought guitars and amps from here and have brought gear in for setups/servicing. Nothing but good experiences. They ordered in an out-of-stock guitar within the week and price matched very competitively. Will always be my first stop for music gear in Geelong!

I've been to a lot of music stores in my time, I will always, without doubt have something to complain about.

But this store simply can't be faulted.

It may not be the prettiest, it may not be the biggest (though, it is deceptively larger that appears from the outside.), it may not even be coolest, but it's the best.

I don't think I've ever been to a music store, let alone any store that is as welcoming as this place. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly honest.

I know it sounds like a joke, but the staff are actually honest and won't just try to shove the most expensive items down ya gullet.

Could bloody turn the heater down a bit though!

The fact that i found this place out of dumb luck is insane, this place should have billboards , me, a recent musical instruments fan was in heaven whilst walking through this store. But after the whole experience, the best thing was the service, the staff were so welcoming and not pushy on the products, deadset felt like we already have known eachother for years. Highly recommend for anyone who even just wants to look at this stuff.

Excellent service, arrived very quickly

Had a really awesome experience coming here in 2019. I even had the kids come in with me. The staff were friendly, helpful and very patient with the kids (one being autistic) who wanted to play instruments. I cannot comment on pricing as I am not a regular shopper for music items. The part that I did buy, was quite reasonably priced in my opinion. So many musical instruments to look at, the kids and I absolutely had a ball.

Customer service is outstanding. These guys always go above and beyond. My business has been using music workshop for years to assist with concert staging, lighting and sound and we have always had an incredible experience. More recently I have taken up guitar and Piano, and Jamie and the guys have been instrumental in helping me get set up with the right gear to begin my learning journey. Can't wait to serenade my household... sure they will love it ;p
