Excellent library Clean tidy & great environment
I have a shoulder injury & it's in a sling. I can't do much & being my dominant arm very difficult
The staff were excellent helping me with the computer & photo copying

On each occasion the staff helped me with my needs and they were very happy to assist me.

Pretty big fan of all the Brisbane City Council libraries but this one always has a special place in my heart as I took my son Tommy to rhyme time a lot here.

The staff are absolutely delightful and so helpful with the new(?) borrowing technology.

Great place to bring young kids as there is something in the hub for all ages - my 18 month old daughter is besotted with the screen on the floor and my son loves the reading nooks.

There are always authors, activities or events so make sure you grab a calendar.

The staff are fantastic, very friendly and extremely helpful. The library is not huge, yet the range is extensive - with access to over 60,000 items. It's well utilised by students, retired folk, and young families with small children. A selection of books is available in Chinese and Greek, just ask at the main help desk. There is an after hours return chute, a disabled toilet, and it's wheel chair accessible - lift access is also located on the food hall level above - just look for the large hanging heart - I'd say green, but it does change colour! The easiest and most convenient car park location is Yellow B1, off Millennium Boulevard. Wifi is free, there is a photocopier, loan iPads ,and word processing, and Xbox consoles for the kids. A display television is available for public viewing, featuring sport and news. Two community meeting rooms, with after hours access, are available for hire - the max capacity is 30 people, and includes a data projector. The library also has a quiet room, news lounge, and a special space for children to enjoy storytime, read a book in a nook, get creative at the craft bar, or play the interactive learning games. Opening Hours - Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri - 9am-5.30pm, Thurs 9am - 8pm, Sat - 9am - 4pm, Sun 10am - 4pm. Closed on public holidays

LOVE CARINDALE LIBRARY! Its so much bigger than garden city, especially with the new renovation! Much more quieter, and easier to find an empty desk! Meeting rooms are usually vacant, and can be booked easily. Library isn't that busy as well, which is a huge bonus. Makes a great place to study as well. Wifi speed is amazing, as is with any library. Very clean place to be as well! Thank-you librarians!

Cosy children’s section with a huge selection of young adult books 📚

I had been to the library for long time. With the newly extensions it has a lot more spaces to be able to sit n read n research n just chillax.
I am a vegan with diabetes T2. At the moment feeling overwhelmed and trying to get my head around everything. This morning my bloods was 12.3 but still not as high as Sundays 12.9.

One of the best, not too fancy, libraries in Brisbane. I'm a regular visitor and all staff are nice and friendly. Cool, clean and most of the time not too noisy. It has function rooms for public use beside the silent room although most afternoons the silent room is a quiet place to focus on work.

It’s a great library with a slick new modern design with a very large range of books. But that’s not all, they have open computers, DVDs, Ebooks, Eaudiobooks and CDs. It is the perfect place to have a peaceful afternoon reading your favourite novel.

Lynette and the wonderful team of librarians at Carindale are amazing . Thankyou so much for for your caring help with my elderly mother when we visited last week . 🥰

I was at the library today and a lovely lady called veronica helped me with my problem she was ever so patient with me she was marvellous

Such a great place and thankful staff. I lost my phone there got stuck in one of the seats and no could locate it.

One staff found it after 3 weeks and they went into trouble of charging it and then checking last missed calls through notification and called my work phone twice, just to make sure the phone get back to me.

I can't tell how much thankful I'm with their honesty.

This library has a great kids section with interactive touchscreens and floor projection, reading zones, and of course LOTS of great books!

The library is not too big but it’s awesome. Its located in a perfect location. Quiet and clean. I would come again definitely.

Beautiful library with the perfect place for kids to rest and play, the staff are so lovely and the library is huge !

Nice place for the family or individual to relax and hook into the free unlimited wifi (members only). Limited places to plug in your charger for your phone if needed.

It has meeting rooms free for the public to use with amenities including tea, coffee and dishwasher. Friendly staff and good access.

Such a cozy and comfy library. Aesthetically pretty and functional. I only left because I was running out of parking.

Not the library's fault but I noticed that a group of carers for special needs people, just bring them into the library and stay in there doing nothing for them, for hours the carers where on their phones while the special needs guys and girls where bored out of their minds, they actually fell asleep and boringly look at their hands, very sad that carers don't take their h

i LOVE this resteursant! i requested a menu and they told me it was a library so i just bourght food in from somehwere and while i read a book! best place ever! 11/10
