Australia Post - Fullarton LPO

The staff here are the most helpful and efficient I've ever come across at an Aust Post store, it's truly a pleasure to watch them work and they clearly take pride in their jobs. I actually like dropping in here to buy something/collect parcels and or send mail.

My favourite post office! I'm a very frequent customer and I am constantly impressed with their efficency and friendly service.

Using this PO for years. Very good experiences from all staff. Amazed people complain about opening hours. Use a parcel locker.

Customer service is always great. Come here often to post items off and have always been greeted kindly and helped with no issues. Wonderful!

Update: After 4 years from my first 1star review I can see the change in this LPO, which is the reason why it's time to update it.
Some of the staff has changed, and now we are lucky to be served by kind and helpful staff who provide excellent service to customers with a smile, every day.

Just one note, Sat-Sun half-day service would be great..

I had an extremely disappointing experience with a very ignorant and rude staff member at the Fullarton/Arkaba post office.

Good service although a bit slow, not their fault, a very slow customer enquiry...

Why this bloody post office isn’t open on Saturday I’ll never understand, screws me all the time. Not everyone can get there during the week, some of us have to earn a crust!!

I don't understand this post office only opens Mon - Fri from 9am to 5pm which as same as me and my husband's working hours, then how can we manage to collect a parcel there within 5 days???

I was waiting to pick up my parcel at the que as bit busy there, service staff was very nice to girl who was in que and even didn't ask for ID hand over the parcel. I'm brown skin and same staff member he changed his character totally and was no smile nothing for me I said I'm here to pick up parcel and straight away ask my ID. Different spoons use for serve different skin colour.

Took a visa photo at the post office, staff could not get the size and background (white) color right and insisted that he used to take the same photo and was ok.

Avoid

An embarrassment to other businesses in the area.
The staff are rude, and their opening hours are pretty ordinary by todays standards.
Unfortunately I can only give one star, which is way too much.

Go out of your way to avoid this location.

Only open 9-5, Monday to Friday. Like other post offices, should stay open late one week night or for a few hours on the weekend to allow people who work full time to collect packages. Unfortunately when purchasing online, you don't always have the option to chose another service (e.g. click and collect).
