Summer Hill Village Vet

Both of my bengal cats had become very sick, very fast. Another vet could not work out what was wrong, as their tests came back negative. I had to wait a week for a specialist to come. However, I knew one of my girls wasn’t going to make it through the night, let alone a week.

The staff at Summer Hill Vet told be to bring her in and they stayed open to give her anti-nausea medication and fluids. She came home with me and just made it through the night. The next morning I was at their door when they opened. They phoned around until they found the specialist I needed who came straight away and scanned her. They worked out what was wrong, and did a care plan.

I have no doubt in my mind that if it wasn’t for the dedication and empathy of the Summer Hill Vet team, I would have lost my fur babies. I can’t thank them enough!

Fantastic people, great professionals! They took amazing care of my fur baby! He came in very ill and we couldn’t find out what was wrong with Ghost. After a couple days they managed it and he was good as new. Great experience! 100% my new go-to vet!

Magnifying friendly staff, friendly, bubbly and always put the animals at the centre of what they do. The whole team have worked wonderfully with our loved ones (pets/family members). They are super responsive and flexible clinic appointments.

Had to bring my dog in for an emergency just before closing time, the veterinary staff stayed after hours to help. They were all extremely friendly and helpful, even though I was keeping them from getting home!

Been here with both my German shepherds for a few years. Wonderful clinic, all the staff, vets, nurses and reception, are absolutely amazing, super friendly, and you get to know everyone over the years. They love your pets just as much as you do. I lost one of my boys recently, they were happy to speak to me about it in detail, and answer all my calls and questions, and check my other dog for the same condition. Also very budget friendly in comparison to large chain vets. Highly recommend.

Friendly, caring, and knowledgeable staff! I feel happy knowing my puppy is in safe hands. Although they see many pets a day, they are still able to make you and your pet feel special.

Our young cat has been to Summer Hill Village Vet for all his check ups, but recently when he was in an accident and fell we were so grateful for the care and compassion of all the staff at the Practice. They made sure our kitty was well taken care of and he came back home happy, the receptionists and vet staff are all lovely and really care about your pets as if they are their own. Thanks so much team, we wouldn’t use any other vet!

Great vets, friendly staff. Nice little vets in summer hill, reasonable prices and they have a great wellness plan which is especially good if you've got a puppy. They often have a cat for adoption too.

Very friendly and helpful staff, I would recommend them. It's little things like when I take my cats in (must admit It has been a while) they put a comforter blanket over the top of the carrier so they don't get scared. Little things make a big difference. Thanks

Lydia is the best vet I have ever come across! I’ve been taking my pets to this vet clinic since 2016. They handled all my animals (dogs, cats, rabbits and bird) with care over the years.

I’ve seen how caring the nurses are (Helen, Jess & Sindy) towards all creatures and wild life handled with the utmost care. The most empathetic and knowledgeable people!

I live an hour away and still go here as I haven’t been able to find an amazing clinic that can compare to these lovely humans!

My cat, Gandalf, was very well taken care of by Dr. Molly today, who showed genuine concern about my cat’s health and wellbeing. She was transparent about the fees and explained the care plan well. Gandalf will be staying at the clinic while I’m away next month. After weighing the options, I think Summer Hill Vet is the best place for him to be.

Friendly service and very capable staff. We have been here a couple of times and, while a vet bill is never great news(!), we never felt like we were being rushed through. The vets and nurses took time to explain points to us and put our dog at ease all the time they were seeing him.

So happy to have found such an amazing local vet. I had to wait a bit because of emergency appointments which is so expected at a vet but they were beyond apologetic and even offered me a coffee voucher to compensate - I've never had such kind treatment for having to wait. The lovely Dr. Molly met with me and my puppy Edgar. My pup was quite nervous but Dr. Molly was so sweet, patient and reassuring. I left feeling really calm and confident and am excited for our next appointment. Thank you Summer Hill Village Vet! :)

Awesome team, including the vets and reception staff. First saw them when my 16yo cat was reaching her end of life. They were so caring and attentive. Now they see my two highly anxious staffies. They go above and beyond to offer sound advice, and to make sure your pets are as healthy and happy as possible. Best vet I've ever had.
