Great crew great service, nothing is too much trouble for them. I live in the South West of WA so getting into the store is a mission. one quick phone call and gear is in the mail and have I have it in a couple of days!!

I'm new to foiling and just love this place. It's so nice dealing with people who know their stuff, listen to what I want to do and offer the right advice. The $300/wk hire kit and demo gear was perfect to get me up and running and clear on what I wanted to buy. Thanks Monica, Silvia, Marcus and Hugh. I'll be back to upgrade soon :)

I could not recommend the Stand Up Surf Shop, and Nikki, any higher! I contacted Nikki after being given her number to see if it would be possible to take 10-12 of our 8-12 year old Vacation Care children for SUP lessons. From the moment we chatted I knew i had found the right person, and i was not disappointed. Nikki was OUTSTANDING. Professional, yet warm, caring, engaging and just an all round lovely person to engage with.
We had a lesson a week over 3 weeks and ended up with 20 children booked in each lesson after having heard how awesome it was from the others. Her offside, Owen, was the calm presence who barely said 2 words, yet was there on his board helping the slower children as they ventured along the river. His calm quiet way certainly put them at ease.
We will definitely make these lessons a continuous summer tradition.
When you have found perfection don't mess with it.Thank you so much, Nikki and Owen, and we will see you next summer.

It is hard to just give 5 stars! EVERY interaction with the staff at the Stand Up Surf Shop has exceeded my expectations. I am in Adelaide, yet they not only look after me for purchasing and shipping my Wingfoil gear, any issue ... No matter how trivial... They are immediately onto it without any question, and solve it. Great, GREAT, service ... Particularly as I am interstate. Highly Recommended.

Went into the shop knowing nothing about wing foiling and left with a full setup. The knowledge by the young guy who served me was great and helped me choose right gear to be up riding in the first session

These guys were excellent. I had an issue with my nearly brand new Starboard where the rail was soft - appeared to be a manufacturing defect - and they spend time with me to review the issue and make recommendations... What made the service stand out so much, is I bought the board somewhere else, and whilst Starboard lists them as retail outlet, they don't stock it and still took the time to look at it thoroughly. [If only the straight forward warranty issue with Starboard was as easy to resolve]

Great customer service. Very friendly and approachable. We booked a lesson with these guys before purchasing our SUP. Wesley was our tutor and he was an absolute legend. Very patient and friendly and took his time with us. We got two hours worth of lesson and it was very helpful in our decision making. We then went back to the shop next week to purchase our SUP. Thank you guys.

Absolutely faultless customer service!
After visiting a couple of SUP shops, there was no comparison to the customer service offered. Being able to trial boards before making that all important decision on which one suited best was brilliant. Best of all, the staff were genuinely concerned about the board suiting both my partner and I in all aspects.

If you are considering buying a SUP, definitely give these guys a go. Given other stores staff didn't even acknowledge us entering their stores, bad luck to them - they lost a sale. Gladly gave our $$ to Stand Up Surf Shop North Fremantle.

I recently purchased my Stand-up Paddle Board and my Wing Foiling Gear from Stand-up Surf Shop in North Fremantle. I knew what SUP I wanted but not what wing foiling gear I needed.
William talked me through it all and advised me on the most appropriate gear and now three months on I am loving my time on the water and find I was sold exactly the right gear for what I wanted to do.
So, thumbs up to them !

Seriously though, I wanted to get a new 4.0 Smik as these wings are smick 😫…. No really they are, the folks here were very fair on my trade in wing, I was going to sell it on the retail market but why bother when you have such polite and reasonable people to deal with here in Perth, we’ll Freo.
Thanks for making my latest purchase such an easy thing. I WILL be back as I progress into this sport and need to upgrade my equipment.

Thank you Stand Up Surf Shop, I have had a great experience with SUP lessons, advice on purchasing my SUP and also post sales support. We had a manufacturers fault with a paddle, the team did not hesitate to replace it promptly. I will happily travel to these guys for my next SUP purchase.

Booked for the beginners SUP class at Freshwater Bay wanting to learn something new, to challenge myself, to get out of the gym and to do something outdoors others than running or just simply going to the beach.

Been nervous Freshwater Bay was the perfect spot to begin to learn SUP, calm but challenging enough to learn and go for a splash!

I knew I was in safe hands with our instructor Nikki. She explained things easy both on land and on the water ensuring nobody was left behind and everyone was on the same page in terms of practicing skills and was there to lend a hand if needed.

From been nervous stepping out of my comfort zone to at the end enjoying been on the board it is a testament to how well she teaches, makes the course fun so you get the most out of your experience! I look forward to doing the 4 week course!

- thrown in a leash... just because he's a great bloke and this is a great shop...
- when i've gone back in to buy a cheap adjustable paddle for my eight year old he's given me one for free...

Very friendly and helpful staff. The team is very knowledgeable and always do their best to get you the best deal. Have bought several boards there and have never been disappointed. This shop also allows you to trial boards for extended periods which is fantastic!

Will was instrumental in highlighting that a defective board, which I'd purchased at another establishment which has since gone out of business, was still under warranty which ultimately resulted in obtaining a replacement from the manufacturer and avoided having to purchase another board.
The SUSS was also super accommodating with their demo boards in terms of trying out different sizes in an attempt to identify the optimal board.
I've had nothing but positive experiences with the SUSS who've become my go to for all things SUP related.
