Alexandria Vet Hospital

We've seen a few vets, and Alexandria Vet Hospital are great. They're good for practical advice, and a great balance between pragmatism and proactive care for our little dog. They're also supporting us with a foster we recently took into care, and their time and attention, not to mention consideration of her circumstances has been much appreciated.

Great experience with my cat. The vet was very caring and considerate of my situation and got us sorted promptly. Receptionist was kind and efficient, hardly any wait. Will be back

Must be the best vet ever. Our golden retriever Cooper was a patient here since he was a few months old, gastros, vaccinations, regular checks, you name it. Cooper is now 8yo and had a tplo surgery done here this week. The whole process was so smooth, the Team of nurses are so nice and caring before, during and post surgery. We really appreciate everything they have done for our fur golden baby so far. Special thanks to Georgia who is an ongoing support in Coopers recovery process now.

Excellent, dedicated vet hospital! They provided emergency care to my kitten, making time to fit her into their busy schedule, and sourcing extra medication from another emergency vet clinic so they could treat her. They were also very reasonably priced. Thanks so much for providing such great care.

A very thorough vet check up from the man with the intense red hair. Very nice, knowledgeable and not in a rush to get you out. Good pricing too

This is a second review. Had a consult with Nurse Sarah today to help me give my cat his medication. She was so patient and so helpful. I now think l can do it myself at home. Wonderful place

I called up for a same day appointment for my kitten who was sick, and even though they were fully booked they made sure to find time to squeeze her in that day. The vet was very thorough and helpful in addressing all the concerns I had. It was also very affordable. Will definitely be making this my regular vet for both my lovely kittens from now on!

I was looking for the export services for a cat in NSW and Alexandria vet tried to help me to export my cat to overseas even they didn't have any experience of it. it was very hard to get a confirm from CSRIO on time but Andrew Planner (a Vet) tried his best to get the results on time. all the staff are very nice and has strong responsibility. very much applicated your help.

Honestly I can’t thank them enough!! My little Pomeranian Chloe had her dessex done by Dr Bianca and she is just the best, I was super worried as she is so small, it all went well thanks to dr Bianca and the girls. They took such great care of Chloe, lots of cuddles, loved the whole team and can’t recommend them enough. Again thank you so much girls 🫶🏻❤

Dr was attentive and mindful of stress of our cat. Took a full examination and was happy to give full explanations.

The entire staff are excellent and do such a great job of accomodating my dog and her reactivity to other dogs while we are in for a visit. The doctor was so nice to my dog and answered all my questions. My dog couldn’t stop giving the doctor kisses, strange to say but I think my dog had a great time at her vet visit. So happy I found Alexandria Vet Hospital, highly recommend.

Felt secure in leaving my boy for his surgery and was happy with the procedure and his aftercare

I am new to Sydney and was desperate to find a good vet as lets be honest, at times they are very hard to come by. Growing up with a mother who worked as a Vet Nurse for over 20 years, she would often tell stories of how vets would always chose money over what was best for the pet / vets ripping off clients and so-forth. To be honest, I was a little hesitant in booking my dog into this clinic because of the reviews but I am so thankful that I did. The two female Vets I have had dealings with have been so great, polite, they provided great service and ensured I left understanding what they were saying. This is a really difficult time for everyone, and some processes are a little slower but everyone is making adjustments to suit Government guidelines. If you are needing a good local vet, then don't focus on the negative comments, just feel sure that your pet will be looked after here.

What a fantastic place. After years of going elsewhere we landed at this vet and the difference is amazing. No charging for unnecessary vaccinations or treatments. The staff are friendly and the vet was very punctual. We were in and out in record time. I can not recommend this place enough.
