My visit to this vet clinic was outstanding! The clean and tidy clinic rooms set a positive tone, but what truly made the experience stress-free was the incredible staff - both admin and vet!!. Their friendliness and expertise created a welcoming and supportive environment with fantastic service. The complimentary concierge service was a thoughtful bonus. I highly recommend this clinic for its outstanding staff and commitment to ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Highly recommend Southern Cross Veterinary Clinic. I always have peace of mind knowing my fur babies are in the safest hands. You hear it a lot that clients are like family, but when it comes to SCVC their actions demonstrates this statement. Thank you for always taking care of my babies.

When you take your fur baby to the vet, it’s a stressful experience for fur children and parents alike and the team at Southern Cross in Surry Hills just put you at ease – from the welcoming receptionist, to the vet who was so wonderful and thorough and reassuring – to the thoughtful follow-up text message the next to check on my pet – it all makes such a difference! Dr Edmund was super attentive and very helpful. We went for the vaccine only but he took his time making sure we know how to raise our new puppy. We can tell he really cares! 🩵✨

Thank you southern cross vet for going above and beyond with my dog today, I was nervous about my dog X-ray and they not only kept me updated, they showed love, support and so much empathy for me and my dog and everything turned out well. Thank you to Dr Edmond, the concierge marc for looking after the Pick up of my fur baby and her return home, Bee at reception , nurse phoebe and the nurses there today . They even gave my dog a hand made teddy and took her on walks while I was at work - so much love for you all ❤🙌 thanks again love tilly and sally

Dr. Edmund, Nurse Bruna and all the kind ladies in the reception desk at Surry Hills clinic made us understand what they mean by saying "gold standard", the kindness is palpable. Our little person, as Dr. Edmund called her, was eager to run for cuddles with everyone. The toy from project HoPe is just adorable and we kinda don't want to give it to the rightful owner... there is love there and we will only give it to her after she's a bit older. They have been amazing, for handling our little person with such good care, and for supporting Jade's Dog Rescue. Without them, we would never have our beloved puppy with us.

Thanks to the gang at Surry hills you guys are so kind and understanding we had to put my down the guys at the vet we’re so great how they helped us it’s so hard to put your baby to sleep after 16 years I would recommend southern cross vets to anyone again thank you so much for looking after us 10/10

Have been there several times for my Persian Cat. They did the first two vaccinations for my cat and it was awesome as my kitten felt no pain. During vaccination sessions, I talked to vet about my kitten eye discharge problem and he said it’s normal for Persian ones. When the discharge issue got worse, we visited the vet again and the new vet said that it’s an eye infection and could be treated easily. I was upset as the kitten has experienced huge uncomfortable over the past months because of his eye discharge problem. We met the centre several times and they prescribed medications to treat eye discharge. In the beginning, the eyes start to heal and I thought my kitten will be free of pain and suffering soon. However, the eye discharged back after couple of months. They charged us huge and provided medications with much higher cost than others. Really disappointed and will not visit again or recommend. Southern Cross Vet Surry Hills sounds suitable for general staff like vaccinations but needs to improve significantly in other areas.

The staff at SCVSH are very friendly and attentive to my cat's needs. The vets are caring and good with my cat even when he is being a prick. Parking would be my only gripe as I usually leave my car at the petrol station when I visit but that is out of their control.

Highly recommend Southern Cross Vets for animals dental cleaning. They took such good care of my Murphy and did such a good job on his teeth. Big thank you to Dr Paige

Very easy to book a quick appointment, issue was swiftly dealt with and Dr Eimear offered her assistance for any other matter and made sure she covered all the necessary questions (it was our first visit) My boy always chooses to get unwell on weekends so very happy to have found a great clinic that opens on the weekends!

My best mate Choo Choo past 2 years ago November 1 I received a text message on anniversary THREATEN ME BECAUSE I SUPPOSED OWE VET 100 DOLLARS EVEN THOUGH THEY SIGNED ME UP TO VETPAY PAID OUT OVER A YEAR AGO, SCUMBAGS

I had Southern Cross Vet recommended to me by several close friends and I’ve been absolutely blown away with the service. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. I’m confident putting my kitten’s health in Dr Sam’s hands, he’s been fantastic with treating him (and always with genuine care). So happy with the decision to choose SCV – 10/10 would recommend!

Every time I take my little dog to SCV, she is so well looked after. From last minute health scares or regular vaccinations, they take care of her, make her feel loved and have the more caring bedside manner. I have been a longtime client and I will be for time to come… Such a pleasure to attend.

Cat boarding team looked after our cat over Christmas. Good to have a quality vet on call there and great team of vet nurses in case anything happened while we were away.

totally amazing service! my cat is a total vibe sponge and has lashed out at vets who were too rough with him in the past but we were both completely comfortable with Dr Edmund. Also Marc the concierge is a total legend! Truly cannot thank you guys enough, we will definitely be returning ❤

I recently had the most incredible experience at the SCV Surry Hills, and I cannot express how impressed I am with the level of service and care I received from the team, especially Dr. Ben. From the moment I walked in with my little cavoodle, Archibald, I could sense the genuine care and passion the team had for their furry patients.

Dr. Ben went above and beyond to make sure Archibald was comfortable and well taken care of. His thoroughness and extensive knowledge were evident in every aspect of the examination. He patiently answered all my questions, providing valuable insights and advice on how to best care for Archibald's specific needs.

What struck me the most was Dr. Ben's kindness and patience. He took the time to listen to my concerns and genuinely cared for Archibald's well-being. I felt reassured and confident in his expertise throughout the entire visit.

A few months ago I picked up a cat from the street, took to Southern Cross vet clinic to check if the cat was microchiped. The nurse was very helpful, contacted the owner registered on the chip however through the conversation had we came to the realisation the cat was not wanted. The Southern Cross team took responsibility for Ginger, caring for her as their own. Ginger received all the vet work and became the mascot. 4 months later, after working with the council to transfer the ownership across, I was able to find a loving home for Ginger. We are forever grateful for the team effort to provide a happy life for Ginger, thank you Sam and SC team! 🙏😻

The best cat Dr I have ever met. My cat looks innocent but is Edward scissor hands if the vet picks her up. Dr Edmund was like cat whisperer, she purred the entire consult. It was post surgery. She now has an implant that will help her. Human grade. Couldn't ask for better service.
