expert knowledge and experience allowed me to see a great biodiversity of marine life on the reef. The food you served was delicious and the deluxe cabin was very comfortable.
Thank you again for showing me around the Ningaloo Reef. I can highly recommend this trip to anyone, and I hope to be back on board again one day.

A life-changing experience. Before the cruise, the Sail Ningaloo team was extremely responsive and helpful, making the process of booking, arranging transfers, hiring dive gear and planning for dietary requirements very easy. During the cruise, the genuine enthusiasm that the crew had for the reef environment created a uniquely inspiring and joyful experience. Jesse, your knowledge of and attentiveness to the conditions on the reef ensured that we got the absolute best experience every day. Your daily route plans meant that every hour of every day had some new wonder for us both on the boat and in the water. Zara, your overt excitement for the reef and proactive knowledge sharing set a welcoming, fun and informative tone for the cruise. We also really appreciated how well you accommodated our various dietary requirements with multiple delicious options at every meal. Hendrik, your knowledge of and passion for the sea life (and especially the Manta rays!) meant we appreciated the experience of swimming and diving on the reef so much more. Thanks to your incredible photography and videography, we have a vivid and evocative memento of the whole 5-day cruise that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

We spent 8 nights aboard Shore Thing and loved every aspect of our trip. There are not enough superlatives to use. Everything was brilliant from the beautiful reef to the dedicated and knowledgeable crew. The meals were sumptuous and plentiful and the snorkelling was exciting. Turtles, reef sharks and millions of fish along with stunning coral were on show every day and the crew did everything possible to ensure we all had a fabulous time. We feel so very lucky to have been able to do this trip. Thankyou Sail Ningaloo.

Absolutely awesome, everything was fantastic. Huge thanks to Gloria, Zara and Luke who made this a memorable trip. I’ve done a few on water trips in the Whitsundays, but it just can’t match Sail Ningaloo and Ningaloo Reef.

Without a doubt, Sail Ningaloo is something that you need to experience. The team were amazing and helped coordinate our entire stay in Coral bay, going above and beyond to make smooth transitions after same late plan changes.

The crew of Sandy, Hendrick and Chloe were top tier and made us feel very comfortable for our time with them. The crew's knowledge of the reef was enlightening.

Sunrises, snorkelling and sunsets on "Shore Thing" are just magical.

This tour is magnificent! You spend five days on the “Shore
Thing” catamaran, snorkelling or diving usually three times each day, and encountering the most wonderful marine wildlife. The crew are amazing and the food plentiful, healthy and delicious. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

This trip was just perfect! Three nights on a catamaran with a great crew, good food, and the best snorkelling we've experienced in Australia. The team were a pleasure to deal with from booking our entire Ningaloo experience (including transfers, whale sharking, and other accommodation) to ensuring our time onboard was comfortable. Based on our experience, I definitely recommend Sail Ningaloo.

Favourite family holiday ever! We spent three days on the Shore Thing and loved everything about it. The crew took us to three sites a day for snorkelling and diving. All were different and it was great to have the knowledgable crew give us a good run down of what we could expect to see at each site. Under the water we enjoyed seeing a huge variety of different coral, hundreds of amazing colourful fish, sharks, turtles and manta-rays. A snorkelling highlight was the drift snorkel where we got dropped in the water and floated with the current just about some gorgeous coral and all the variety of sea life. From the boat we got to watch a pod of humpback whales play around for about 15 minutes.

When we were not in the water we were on deck either sun-baking/sleeping/reading on the comfortable bean bags or day bed.

Another highlight of the trip was the lovely freshly prepared food coming from the kitchen all day, from a substantial breakfast to freshly baked morning tea treats (ie mini carrot cakes, choc chip cookies), a huge satisfying lunch and a two to three course meal every night. Every meal was delicious and it was great fun to sit around the table with the other guests and crew chatting about the adventures of the day.

The boat was super comfortable and the crew were friendly, knowledgable fun and caring.

chose a 6 day trip and loved every second of it! our crew members were jesse, gloria, and zara and they were all so professional, kind, personable, and eager to make the trip fun for everyone on the boat! they always took their time to make sure all of us were comfortable and guided us from each dive/snorkel spot with clear communication. a few of my favorite memories were getting to dive with sharks, snorkel with a manta ray, and catch some of our own squid for homemade calamari! would definitely recommend with full confidence :)

I’ve travelled the world, had many different holidays but Sail Ningaloo’s experience on Shore thing would have to top the lot. From the reservations staff to the crew on board, everything was carefully curated and thought out. The diving (diverse dive sites, mantas, octopus, moray eels, groupers, lion fish, sharks, huge sea turtles, schools of fish, nudi branch and more, the snorkeling (shallow shipwrecks to huge eco systems of coral structures as far as the eye can see), sailing (be apart of the crew or not), food (I’m vegetarian and I felt respected and catered for) and even the guests made this one of the most memorable money well spent moments I’ve had. The team on board is second to none. I will forever dream about my time shared here in this very special place, thank you.

Our 8 night/9 day trip on Shore Thing (catamaran) September 2022 was excellent. This is the 2nd time we have been on Shore Thing and plan to go back in 2024, it was that good.
From the first moment we got on the boat, to the last day before we got off the boat there were plans to dive and snorkel. We felt looked after both in and off the water by the crew: dive master, host and skipper...and even prior to the trip, the office staff ensured all our paperwork was in order so that we could dive, and after the trip, seeing us and our bags to our accommodation in Exmouth. The snorkeling and diving were amazing, seeing so many animals, fish and critters was a delight.

This is by far the best experience you’ll have..the crew are amazing and very informative we saw so much wildlife and to have a professional photographer onboard was the best.

We've been onboard "Shore Thing" with Sail Ningaloo twice and both were unbeatable experiences! The underwater diving along the ningaloo coast is out of this world with manta rays, breaching whales close to the boat, friendly sharks, and epic night diving on offer. And hey, rogue octopuses make the experience more entertaining! The atmosphere super chill, thanks to the small crew and guest count. The crew handle all the meals and replenish and clean our dive gear, so when you're not underwater, you can just kick back and relax, under the sails or froth over your underwater footage. The entire team both onboard and on shore are gorgeous. They are so accomodating, the service is unmatched. I can't recommend Sail Ningaloo enough. 5 STARS

Sail Ningaloo and their yacht Shore Thing are one of the premium platforms for exploring the Ningaloo Reef World Heritage site. We spent 2 months photographing the Ningaloo Coast and our week on Shore Thing was extraordinary. Not only does Luke (and their other skippers) know the reef and it's secret spots like the back of his hand, but he is knowledgable on all it's quirks and its creatures habits and led us into encounters that we could not have found elsewhere. The yacht itself was very spacious and the cabins comfortable and immaculate. An unexpected highlight was the quality of the meals which were all top notch with all tastes being well catered for. The underwater guiding was also fully professional and many things that would pass even the most studious observer by were revealed by their considered scrutiny and familiarity with the undersea world.
All in all our time on Shore Thing was too short, we would have loved to enjoyed the hospitality and expertise of the crew for longer. We recommend the SailNingaloo team without reservation.

We had a fantastic time onboard the Shore Thing, the knowledge of the crew Duke, Kate and Hendric was excellent. They made us feel welcome, comfortable and safe during the whole trip. The booking process with Hayley and Cristie was helpful and easy.

Wow! What a fabulous time we had aboard the lovely Shore Thing. Three days of incredible snorkelling, guided by the crew - Captain Duke, Hendrik and Kate - so capable, knowledgable and loads of fun! Ningaloo Reef is truely extraordinary and the crew planned stops where we could experience a vast array of different coral and reef life. It gave me a greater appreciation of the watery world down below ... very, very special! Even swam with a Manta Ray and visited the 'shark cleaning station'!! The cabin we had was excellent and the food superb! Lovely final touch of a take home video prepared by the talented Hendrik. All in all, an amazing, eye opening adventure!!

Cristie's travel advice helped make the trip smooth and even with a last minute change of plans, the whole team worked together to help make the trip memorable. Daily baked bread on board was amazing. Fine dining at the end of each day was something to look forward to. Each night's briefing for the following day made for great after dinner conversation. Glorious sunrises and sunsets, amazing marine life, knowledge of the reef, bespoke experience by the team and great company of other guests makes Sail Ningaloo a stand out. Thank you Hendrick, Tiana and Duke who worked together so well onboard and made us feel welcomed.

Highly recommend Sail Ningaloo. Spent 6 days on the catamaran 'Shore Thing' being cared for with amazing meals, accommodation and incredible dive sites. Luke has been cruising and diving these waters for over 13 years and shares his knowledge and insights to enhance the trip. Dive Instructor Hendrick toured the underwater world with us while Chief Stew Kate prepared the most amazing meals.

This was really a trip of a lifetime. It was an absolutely amazing trip. We went for three days on Shore Thing. We saw and swam with whales, manta rays and countless fish and coral. The crew and captain were lovely. We were well fed and the lodgings were very comfortable. It was fun and relaxing and I really couldn't recommend them highly enough. I will be back on board Shore Thing on day in the near future.
