First time at this place and the experience was great (24 April 2021). The staff are friendly and attentive. The food was delicious Can't fault on the taste or presentation. We were there for a friend's birthday so a surprise cake was organized which they brought out and cut the rest for taking home. My Negroni was pretty good but others did not enjoy their cocktails, too sweet.
Overall good experience.

I have been to this vibrant restaurant several times over the past few years for both group functions and private dinner parties and have never been disappointed. The Turkish cuisine is exceptional. The staff are friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere and lovely surroundings. Special❣

Delicious food, friendly staff, attentive yet unobtrusive service, and a great wine list. Highly recommended. Bookings on Fridays and Saturdays are usually necessary.

For a rare night out as parents of young ones, this is such a treat.

Tonight we rolled the dice and rocked up hoping for luck and the friendly staff welcomed us into a capacity filled restaurant.
We sat privately over looking a fountain and gardens.
The service was first class.fast, friendly, knowledgeable. So very welcoming..

The meal was superb. Breads, dips....duck legs....everything was perfect. Suggested cocktails were perfect.

Such a great meal that we stayed for the chef's selection deserts.

If you want a great meal, and want it to be special, you won't find better in Canberra.

Superb food. It’s deceptively simple food but cooked so well that it seems to be greater than the sum of its parts. It’s a well known and busy restaurant so I’d suggest booking ahead. But parking is relatively easy (paid). The service is very friendly and the prices are reasonable for the quality.

This has got to be the best middle eastern cuisine going in Canberra. The homemade dips and prawns are amazing. Can sit small or larger tables.

We tried the degustation menu during the Easter long weekend. Food is delicious, friendly and welcoming service, stunning interior and outside also very lovely. Recommended.

These prawns were amazing! Simple dish but super tasty and cooked really well. Ordered dips, 2 entrees, and 2 main dishes for 2 people and left feeling super full.

The food was absolutely delicious and well balanced . The service attentative and friendly , it s a little too dark in there so one cannot see the beautifully presented dishes well enough. But definitely a place to enjoy

The food was mouth watering. The staff were amazing especially our head waitress Gabbi. The setting was beautiful and peaceful. I would highly recommend either a meal or like us a party at the restaurant. All my guests could not speak more highly of the food and service.

Had the banquet, good value, portion sizes good, no leftovers and not overfull as a result. Good decor and service. In the area we were seated there was limited room to move between tables so may be an issue for people with mobility aids. I would recommend telling the staff when booking if this was needed as the restaurant was fully booked when we were there so you could be placed in a suitable area. Strongly recommend that you book a reservation as one party was turned away while we were waiting as they didn't book and there was no room.

Had the degustation dinner with wine pairing. Everyone loved it. They were able to cater for the vegetarian in our group. Service was excellent, even though they were busy, we were well looking after. It was a lot of food, felt we passed elegant sufficiency.

The food and service here is amongst the best we have ever had. Our server (Annalyse) was a total professional in both her knowledge of the menu as well as her timing and politeness. The food was exceptional and was easily up there with any five star restaurant. The decor is more like a high class French restaurant with a Turkish twist but this perfectly set the mood for this classy restaurant! Can't wait to come back next time we are down in Canberra. My favourite restaurant! Have been coming here once or twice a year since it opened in the early 90s. Always a wonderful experience. Food is just superb! The ice-cream is a must-have and is just so good I am at a loss to adequately describe it! You just have to try it! Looking forward to my next visit already!

Our favourite restaurant in Canberra and unfailingly excellent. Waiting staff are attentive and the dishes superbly prepared. This, of course, has resulted in a second hat for the Ottoman. Slowly working through the menu and each dish has been a delight. Definitely a top recommendation.

Fine dining in Canberra 🔝! We had a work dinner there so there was few of us we got the $70 banquet that had a little of everything! The service was a bit slow but the place was packed! Great selection of wines 😍

Had an amazing time here. Amazing food and service. Food was generous, tasty, and interesting. Our server Cecilia didn’t miss a beat, they were professional, funny, considerate, and all round amazing.
