Thank you very much to Chef Metin and the team for the memorable evening!
We had the Standard Banquet for 2.
Everything exceeded our expectations, from the quality and the quantity of the food to the service.
Despite the busy evening, and although we went on an impromptu visit without a reservation, we were always served very attentively, with a smile. The beautiful people serving us took much effort to make sure that everything was okay.
We were even offered some warm and delicious Turkish apple tea at the end of our meal.
The highlight of the night has to be the surprise dessert! It would have been better if I had been allowed to pay more for it. 🤣

Will definitely visit again next time I'm back in the capital. Thank you!

Pricey side but really good quality delicious filling meals. This was a stop over on our road trip from Melbourne and we were not disappointed. The quality of the meals are exceptional. The flavour was mouth watering. The view from the restaurant is really nice too.

Went to Zeytin Turkish Cuisine on Friday! Totally impressed me! The best Turkish cuisine that I have ever had in Canberra! And the customer service! So good! Will definitely come again. Thanks Metin!

A. Grade turkish restaurant. The quality exceeded my expectation. We tried their Cig Kofte, Trio of Dips with turkish bread as entree. The turkish bread was fresh. The Mains - Chicken Skewers with steamed veggies and rice & Atlantic Salmon with salad. All were outstanding and clean . dog friendly seating outside. Wide range of alcoholic drink options were available. Great location with water views. Finished off our dinner with turkish coffee & turkish delight. There was traditional music playing softly in the background, it created a beautiful atmosphere….

Lovely restaurant. Highly recommended.

We had dinner here on Friday night, and it was bittersweet, as the restaurant closed on Sunday. The food was delicious, we enjoyed everything we had - including the trio dips and bread, the mains (my husband and I both got lamb) and the dessert! My husband had the olive baklava, which we were unsure about, but it was just as delicious as the owner promised it would be. We're very sad we won't be able to eat there again, we had such a good time!

We had a dinner on Friday. That's the best Turkish food I have ever had! The roasted chicken and hummus dip was very delicious. They were much better than I expected. Besides, the customer service was amazing! Especially Metin, he is awesome

Amazing food , especially the first in the world Olive Baklava. It was so Yummy.

Very friendly people and good size portions

We had the banquet and loved it all. Dips and bread were incredible and the waiter didn't hesitate to offer more bread at no extra cost - thankyou!

The lamb skewer and chicken skewer were seasoned well and juicy - the veges complemented well.

This is one of the best Turkish restaurants in Canberra that I’ve been to!

The experience was better then the last time we went. We ordered two dishes, one was an entree ‘crumbed parmesan chicken fillets’ and main ‘prawns skewers’. Both dishes were tasty. We will go there again.

This place is amazing! We had the kuzu sis - omg - the sauce didnt overpower the lamb the lamb was perfection in the middle not chewy at all, octopus, trio of drips and cig kofte which was ridiculous. So glad we found this place.

We held our wedding venue in here and my guests were very pleased with the ambience, food and how accommodating the staffs were!
We would like to thank you Metin and your crew, there's no word to express how thankful we are.

Askim Askim....went to this place after a friend kept on insisting. Hats off to the chef, great taste . He takes his sweet time but once the dish arrives you take the first bite...you are not disappointed at all. Just yum. Matein the owner and chef kudos to him to showcasing authentic Turkish cuisine (more then kebabs and pide). Tried there lamb, eggplant entree, grill platter skewers (lamb + chicken). Cherry on the top was the dessert.

It was an amazing experience, especially the service. Very one was so friendly. The olive baklava is a must once-in-in-a-life-time experience, definitely go ask the lovely chef to make it for you. Highly recommended. Amazing experience.

Delicious food. The banquet is a great option to try variety of dishes. Value for money . Very tasty.

I couldn't be happier with this place. My partner and I have been coming here regularly for a while now and the food has always been excellent and reasonably priced. The staff have also always been so fantastic and accommodating, even brought my partners parents to meet mine for the first time here.

Food was absolutely delicious, mouth wateringly good. Staff were friendly and helpful answering questions about the menu. A lovely spot on the water, and quieter than the foreshore.

With a mix of indoor and outside seating in a popular waterfront location, this visit to Zeytin very much reminded me of the restaurants of upmarket Alsancak, Izmir, in Turkey. Food quality was excellent, and serving sizes were appropriate, leaving me satisfied but not bloated at the end. Courses were also delivered with excellent timing, flowing smoothly from one round of the banquet to the next.
Given its location in an area where just a basic burger can be expected to cost around $24, the prices for this much more skilfully prepared cuisine were not unexpectedly high.
Although almost full to capacity, service was fast, efficient and polite at all times.
This restaurant is definitely worth visiting.
