Charnwood Turkish Pide

What a great takeaway. I had the vegetarian kebab roll. Very tasty. The bread they make it with is so good. My son appreciated that they made an effort to have clean nice chairs out the front too.

The absolute best Turkish food!! Mouth watering and delicious. The kebabs are a favourite here and are always packed full of juicy and scrumptious ingredients that are fresh and will leave you wanting more.
Wonderful and helpful staff who are hardworking and fast cause it can get especially busy on Friday evenings and the weekend. Basically my favourite place to eat!

They make a great kebab with their own bread. Unusually for a kebab place they don't do chips, but there is a chicken shop 50m away where you can get chips.

Amazing kebabs they make their own breads for kebabs etc all fresh on-site. fresh ingredients and really good portions. will be back to try more

Although it’s name suggests that this place specialises on pide, its kebabs are very good. I believe they make their own bread, which is soft and lightly toasted. The filling is generous; I chose lamb and it didn’t disappoint. Give it a try if you’re in the neighbourhood!

They have the best lamb shish kebab - juicy, tender, packed to the brim and seasoned just right.

We have been eating here for years.
The food is exceptional, fresh and flavourful.
Authentic traditional flavours (yes I’ve traveled to Turkey twice) and I know my food and flavours.
Delivery is ALWAYS fresh and fluffy .
The staff a fabulous. I’m always disappointed at Christmas time when our friends and family are in town and we crave for Charnie Turkish pide by the pool these guys are taking a well deserved break.

Delicious! A bit on the salty side. And so much more food per meal than we thought. $62 spent and would easily feed 8 people! Will buy from here again.

Got another Turkish favourite! Very good value for the food. Only wish it was a bit less salty. Otherwise muahh! 👌 The kebab rolls are good too but a bit dry for me - this might actually be better for some people because it's not very greasy. I just love the grease 😂

This is a regular for me, great value at a good price. Yarraluma used to be renowned for their kebabs in Canberra and in some people's eyes still are but you've gotta try one of these as these are much better imo! These things are packed full of meat and all the extras are available. The Pide is great along with the dips and Turkish bread so enjoy 😀

One of the few places left in Canberra where you can get a massive kebab for under $15. Awesome food, friendly staff, quick service.

I like that they don't mind at all, when I ask for a container of shaved lamb doner without salad. They put heaps in. Fantastic for anyone doing the carnivore diet, and just wanting a bit of the good stuff.

A lovely local with friendly faces. Great service, big and delicious kebabs (chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion, taboulli, cheese with hummus and garlic sauce my gaaawd, yum)!! Amazing pide's (super veg with chicken is the bomb) and the hummus dip is to die for. Lots of parking and if you'd prefer you can ask for delivery. Highly recommend!

This place has the best Turkish kebabs.

Best kebabs in Canberra; they make their own bread, they're generous with the fillings and the meat is juicy and never fatty. The kebabs are just as good as (or in my opinion, even better than) the famous Yarralumla kebabs and you never have to wait long or line up for ages. Their dips are delicious too and their pides and banquets are great value.

Been coming here for over 10 years. Same order every time, the kebabs are probably the best in the country with in house made wraps that are slightly toasted. Couldn't ask for anything better !

Other reviews will talk about how great the kebabs and pide are, and they are right. However the "Mixed Grill" is their standout dish, various pieces of beef, chicken and lamb on a bed of rice may sound simplistic but it's anything but.

Best kebab this side of Canberra, a hidden gem that competes with Yara kabab.

The Turkish pizza/pide are also great.

The only thing they don't do is chips and snack packs.
