We had such a lovely time at Peggy’s Bed & Breakfast! The grounds were so beautiful and we had a fantastic view of the mountain from our private balcony off the bedroom. We also enjoyed a spa bath with views of the mountain. The food was delicious and we were served complimentary canapés upon arrival. It was so peaceful and cozy, we will absolutely be back to stay again! Thanks so much Peggy!

The best getaway I've experienced to date! This place exceeded my expectations and I'm extremely grateful for this opportunity! Peggy is sweet, friendly, exceptional at running the B&B and is extremely accommodating. The highlight of the my time here was: swimming with serene mountain views, having breakfast with views of Mt Warning and chilling in a hot spa! I will definitely be back again in the future 😍 😍 😍

My husband and I were fortunate enough to stay 5 nights here recently. Apart from being in a great location to explore the surrounding area, this B&B has amazing views towards Mount Warning. It has uniquely designed accommodation to capture the great scenery and was very spacious and comfortable. Also available to enjoy, is the delightful pool and relaxing spa. What made this B&B extra special though, was our host Peggy. From our first phone conversation to our meeting on arrival, followed by our departure, Peggy was so professional in every way. Such a warm and welcoming host, highlighted by her many thoughtful extras...and she provides the most delicious breakfast every morning. Thank you for allowing us to share your delightful home and for making us feel so welcome.

A lovely, tranquil retreat with stunning views and warm and attentive hospitality. A comfortable room, hot tub, tasty breakfast and a warming fire all add up to a relaxing stay. Our host Peggy anticipated our every need, and we were really well looked after. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful stay at this place. Great hospitality, great location, nice views right from your room, and in short, "excellent service". The owner, Peggy is very welcoming and friendly. She personally walks you to the room and describes all you need to know. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with your choice of drink and of course hors d'oeuvres. Then you'll be provided with a breakfast menu to choose from for the next morning. As for everything else, breakfast was amazing and delicious. "A view of Mount Warning Bed and Breakfast", like its name, it has a great view of the Mountain. Being 7-8 kilometers away from the mountain, it is highly recommended to stay here before or after your hike. There is also a swimming pool and a spa. Don't miss the spa if you are checking in after your hike :) definitely relaxing. This place is highly recommended!

Couldn't have expected more than what we were offered. Both the host were lovely, making sure your stay is as comfortable as ever. Lovely range of breakfast with stunning view. We even had some nibbles right after our arrival. Couldn't have asked of more. Will be back for this lovely experience.

The view, accomodation, service and breakfast was excellent. They even great you with a drink and canape upon arrival. Air conditioner in room give you a great nights sleep in the warmer months, but sitting on the balcony in the shade with a cold drink enjoying the view of the surrounding mountains was my favorite. And to think your only around 30 minutes from the coast.

Enjoyed our stay here. We had a large, spacious & nicely furnished room with ensuite that really did have a great view of Mt Warning. Good breakfast; pleasant, unobtrusive & hard-working hosts and a very short drive to Mt Warning. It was a great base for us to explore the Tweed Valley & Tweed Coast, the Gold Coast & Byron Bay. We'll definitely be back.

Just beautiful - cannot fault anything. Been quite a few months since we were there and only stayed 2 nights, wish it was 2 weeks. Hosts are outstanding and we had a great room with - what can I say - a superb Mount Warning View. One minute in cloud, the next majestically cloud free. Dinner at the Uki pub was another world again.
The "yurt" style construction was intriguing, to say the least.
Highly recommended.

Village in Australia

Uki is a village situated near Mount Warning in the Tweed Valley of far northern New South Wales, Australia in the Tweed Shire. At the 2011 census, Uki had a population of 765 people. Its name may have come from an aboriginal word for "small water plant with a yellow flower and edible root". The name UKI was actually derived from the limber mills in the area.
