H&R Block Tax Accountants - Gungahlin

I moved over to H&R block to do my latest tax return after shopping around for a new accountant who could offer a lower cost. I was doing my previous tax returns with my former accountant for many years and they were highly experienced (and I really liked them personally) but in the end, I had no choice but to change accountants in order to save costs, especially with those rising expenses. My experience with H&R Block turned out to be so positive and I was happy with the lovely lady who helped me with the tax return. She was very kind, extremely knowledgeable, so responsive, so patient and so approachable. The understanding, the care and the empathy she placed on clients was so touching. I later found out that she was actually the office manager who got out of her way to help clients with their tax returns! I really want to write her name here but she told me not to as she didn't want to take any credit for the awesome experience she has given me and she'd rather let the company have it. How noble is that? True heroes like to stay in the back scene and let others have the rewards. Thank you so much, dear, for making me feel so positive about H&R block but it's YOU who made it happen. I really hope to do my next tax return with you - if not, really really really hope I get someone as great as you !!! I'll be in touch again ha! 🙂🙂🙂

This was my first time of doing tax at H & R Block and I realised what I missed on all these years.Travelling all the way to Woden for the last 35 years and may last year’s fee was $65.00 more than with H & R this year for the same tax return outcome. Not to mention that H & R is basically 5 minutes away... Said enough,

Swati, the accountant from H&R Block was very helpful and assisted me with my tax returns over the years. She is a very capable professional and great at her work.

We used H & R Block Gungahlin for the third time this year. We find them very professional and they take out the guesswork in completing your tax return. We will use them again in the future.

Exactly what I needed, to get my franking credits back, not needing to lodge a tax return now. Reply - we can do that, 15 mins, small charge and done, happy as.

Friendly and efficient members and great with getting the most from your return.

The worst tax return I have done to date. Little to no advice was offered by the accountant. I could have just done my tax return at home and saved a lot of money.

Booked online for an in person meeting only to be told when I arrived that my appointment was over an hour later than my booking confirmation. Then when I was finally seen, the employee barely answered my questions, complained about being busy and "how she'll have to miss her lunch break today". Professional is not the word to describe any part of the service.

If you want the worse tax service and advice go and see the guys at Gungahlin. You pay top dollar and they offer little no advice in terms of getting a refund. I generally do my return at home and when i decided to go back to an agent because of TAX reasons!! I got the some inconpotent hack who knew less then i i did.

Worst tax return i've ever received in my life. Unprofessional and lazy staff don't even bother booking with Bharati Surve she will hand you over to another unexperienced staff member for them to serve you.. Complete waste of time and money going here... Avoid at all costs!!!

Waste of time and ridiculous service. appointment was at 11:30 and waited until 12:30 but still not calling.
