Dave and the team did a great job on my Honda Civic. They fixed suspension, engine mounts, rattles. Took a while to get parts, but that was out of their control. The car now travels like a dream. Feels like new. Their workshop is extremely busy, professional and thorough. I found them on Google search and they are great. I highly recommend them.

My first experience with Moorooka Automative last week was amazing. Dave and his team were absolutely fabulous. So professional and efficient and totally went out of his way to help me in a dire situation with my car not starting at an inconvenient time. Had it towed and the team worked on it for 2 days and besides the original issue of needing a new fuel pump found so many things that had not been picked up in the past. I am so grateful as they stayed back till almost 5.30pm to make sure I had my car for the the weekend when their closing time is 4.30pm. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a hardworking, efficient workshop who explain everything little thing in detail and actually show you. My car drives like a dream already even with more to be repaired. Thanks again guys. Much appreciated.

My family have been taking their cars here for years! Never had any issues and recently had my car serviced here - the guys kept me updated the entire time. Ben, David and the team were super helpful. Picked up my car to find it had been WASHED AND VACCUMED INSIDE!!!! made my week. 10/10

My experience at Moorooka Automotive was excellent! The team we're happy to help with my enquiries and able to get a really good quote for the issues with my car. They also polished and cleaned my car which I didn't ask for which is a nice touch. Great service and friendly team makes for a great service! Reasonable price and really professional crew, I will recommend more Chinese friends come here. No complicated problems can puzzle them.

Long story short,
I had just had my Auto transmission rebuilt from another mechanic who specializes in that, they did a great job too, but 2 day later, the rocker cover cracked in the Hi-Lux and was spraying oil everywhere. With three days before driving to Bendigo, Dave booked me in straight away and Ben did the work.

The job was flawless thanks fellas.

I appreciated the professionalism, attention to detail and a great attitude and the quick turnaround despite your heavy workload.

I highly recommend these guys and will be using them from now on.

Ben and Dave should be so proud of their team. I had significant work done on my Nissan Patrol. The quoted price was the eventual price. Best 4wd mechanics I have come across in the last 30 years working on wds. I would highly recommend for price workmanship and price.

Car is running well. I’ve been very happy with Moorooka Automotive to date. They explain what’s going on, give good options and fair prices - plus old fashioned service with a smile!

I’ve dealt with many mechanics and Ben and the team are by far the best I’ve ever had. Ben takes the time to explain issues in detail and various options for addressing them and planning through when they need to be done by in the coming years.

He has fantastic knowledge with 4wds (including patrols) and understands various typical issues with various year models so he can quickly hone in on likely causes of problems. He will spend a lot of time investigating where the best deal is for sourcing replacement parts. He is very reasonably priced.

Called these guys to see if they could squeeze me in after having some car issues and Dave instantly said “bring it down!” with no hesitation. He kept me updated all day, ordered parts in and had them within an hour! Guys in the shop were super friendly and they had me fixed up within 24hrs! Excellent service, no complaints!

Dave was very helpful, rang me several times, to explain what I needed to get done, was also able to quote prices, on most jobs. Highly recommended.

Employed moorooka auto for a prepurchase inspection + rwc and had a smooth experience. Staff were knowledgeable about the vehicle and explained the examinations and investigations in sufficient detail. Would highly recommend for anyone purchasing a used vehicle unaware of what to look for.
