Pho City Vietnamese Authentic Restaurant

We ordered the Pho with chicken and beef. Although the taste is heavy on the taste, it is still very recommended! The fried wanton is also delicious and is a popular item.

I don’t know how this place can get poor reviews - our meal was absolutely unbelievable (and always is) so flavourful. If you’re experienced with Asian cuisine you’ll know that everything can be a base - there’s plenty of sauces/condiments including chilli and fish sauce available if you want to make it sweeter or more sour to suit your taste. Always come back here when I am in Brisbane, fantastic little find. So affordable, super friendly and BYO too

Great food (enough choices), efficient and helpful service in a cosy diner space tucked away down a small lane. Has a vegetarian /vegan menu section (yay). We had a Pho and a vegetarian noodle soup. Both very good. This place clearly has regular loyal customers. Lunch times are much busier than at dinner.

Great find in a side street. The host was very knowledgeable about gluten and even checked the sauce containers. Food was tasty and large serves.

Sufficient amount of beef. If you are craving for light soupy food, this is the place to go.

Well kept clean restaurant in Burnett Lane. The owner always friendly. Always go for the seafood noodles, but there are many other good choices including pho and banh mi. Reasonable price and quick service. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious food with a good range of options. Fairly priced.

One bowl of good Phở in this place is enough for me being away with all the foreign food I can't eat. Even the fancy Thai restaurant didn't serve that good Thai food.

Went on Australian day with friends. A little restaurant tucked away from the mall and man what a great find. Restaurant had great service (condiments are self-serve like most Vietnamese restaurants), guy at the counter was super chill and nice. Food came within 10mins of waiting. Ordered vermicelli salad and beef pho and was delicious. Pho was slightly on the sweet side but let’s be honest every shop has their style. Super authentic and will visit again!

Had the beef stew with a bread roll and it was amazing. Lots of flavour and the beef was so soft. Will recommend. Gf ordered pho with chicken and said it was a little salty but she is used to Vietnamese pho in Vietnam not Australia so I put it down to the Australian pho having more flavour. Still enjoyed

I have been traveling around the world for 10 months. During these months I have eaten my meals at restaurants or street vendors. The curry chicken I had at Pho City this evening is my new standard for curry. One gets a little jaded after several months when it comes to food, and I admit that I am partial to Vietnamese cooking however this was outstanding. The subtlety of the heat under the earthy/sweet was madly impressive.

Called in for a weekend lunch and wasn't disappointed. The crispy skinned chicken was the highlight, tender and buttery on the inside and charred deliciousness on the out. All GF menu. A gem in the middle of the city. Forget KFC and HJs.
