We had the most Magical day on the Keppel Explorer - Scott is so knowledgeable, passionate and a whole lot of fun! All the gear you require for a day of snorkeling down to warm jackets and beanies are supplied. Can't recommend this tour enough!

What an fantastic experience! Great value for $$.
The boat ride was a thrill, the beaches were stunning, we saw so many beautiful fish snorkelling including clown fish and a turtle! Scotty's wealth of local knowledge found us the best spots for the weather conditions. And the thermal gear was very much appreciated.

We absolutely loved our day with Scotty on the Keppel Explorer. Scotty is a great Captain who is well experienced in the area. All his gear and equipment is top quality which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

This tour was everything that I dreamed of! Scotty was very knowledgeable, and spoilt us rotten with multiple spots to swim in/explore. Lots of snorkeling time, lots of marine life, a belly full of good food and belly full of laughs. I would recommend this tour to anyone, absolutely worth it! :)

I had the most incredible experience with Keppel Explorer on their snorkel tour of the Keppel Islands! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking—crystal clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and an abundance of marine life. Our host, Scott, was wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the local ecosystem and ensuring we had a safe and enjoyable time. This tour was the highlight of my school holidays and I can't recommend it enough! If you're looking for an unforgettable adventure, Keppel Explorer is the way to go!

Thank you so much, such an amazing day. Thoroughly recommend this to everyone. What is a visit to Yeppoon of you don't get Scott to take you out for a day of fun and adventure. We felt like we had the ocean, islands and the beaches all to ourselves. We have snorkelled in so many places but this was outstanding. Lunch was great, catered for every one so well and ate on our own private beach. Got to swim with a turtle and so many fish. We will come back to Yeppoon just so we can go on the Keppel Explorer again. Thanks again Scott! Highlight of our trip.

A brilliant trip, Scotty was the perfect host making the day so special. The snorkelling gear supplied was all in excellent condition.I enjoyed that we were a small group of 12 ,the day was so relaxed with fun and laughter through out the day , snorkelling spots magical, pristine beaches and a beautiful lunch included.I’ll have to go one more time and take an underwater camera because the turtles, fish, coral and clams were excellent.

My family (of 4), loved our experience on the Keppel Explorer so much last year that we went again today. Scotty had great local knowledge and took us to amazing snorkeling spots. We saw so many beautiful fish, several turtles, a Shovel nose Ray and a dolphin. Lunch was included and was fresh and tasty. Snorkels, fins and stinger jackets were also provided. We will definitely be back again.

My two boys and i had an amazing day out on Scotty’s boat. We swam with a whale and a dugong, saw stunning private coves, snorkelled a shipwreck and beautiful reef. There is a reason this is the best snorkelling tour going!

Scotty is the best! Thank you for the most memorable reef experience! The trip had only twelve people and Scott took us to the best snorkelling sites. We saw beautiful sea life, had a great packed lunch and enjoyed great company. Highly recommended!

A day to remember!!

Our day trip out with Scott was one of the best experiences I have had in Australia. Scott's knowledge of the Keppel Islands and its history was incredible. We were taken to some of the best snorkelling spots I have ever been to. I have never seen coral like it in any of my travels, you could stay down there for hours. He knew I really wanted to see some sea turtles and we did!! We snorkelled with 2 of them and it was the most incredible experience.

Absolutely amazing day, fast boat ride, beautiful beaches and scenery. Amazing snorkelling spots. Yummy lunch. Our tour guide for the day was simply fantastic 10/10. Wet suits, snorkel gear wind jackets all supplied in the price. Highly recommend this trip.

Shane & I had the best day out with Scott snorkelling GKI and surrounding islands. The water was so calm & clear making for perfect snorkelling conditions. Scott and his trusty rib were well equipped for our fun filled day. The swimming jackets and pants which are really such a great idea, snorkelling equipment, yummy lunch and Scott's expertise all made for a great day. We will definitely do this tour again. Highly recommended for your Great Keppel Island holiday.

Fantastic day. Scott was upbeat and fun and knew the Keppel islands like the back of his hand, so chose the locations we visited best suit the wind, so conditions were ideal. The islands are amazing and so few people around. But best was the snorkelling; we saw colourful coral and huge variety of fish. Highly recommended. Boat and equipment were top notch as well.

We had amazing weather and the water was crystal clear. Scotty knows all the best spots for a snorkel. We saw a huge variety of coral, fish and loads of turtles. Thank you so much Scott it was a day the family won't forget.

Just WOW!
My partner and I were heading down the coast and this was the first stop of the trip. What an amazing start it was!
Scotty is an AMAZING tour guide, with so much passion and knowledge about the islands.
We picked the perfect day to be out on and in the water. Scotty had plenty of spots to show us with amazing views, relaxing walks and breathtaking snorkeling opportunities.
If we are ever back in the area again we wouldn’t hesitate to book this again. Highly recommend! 10/10 experience

Wow, what a fantastic day. Scott really thought of every little detail.

Booking online was really easy.

Checking in on the day and getting fitted for our wetsuit top and shorts was really easy and quick. We kept these on all day until we returned.

Boarding the boat was close by and a simple process with such a small group. Definitely bring a bag that can get wet on the outside as it will be on the floor of the boat and by the end of the day it will be wet.

We were on our way in no time and we got super lucky and spotted whales within the first 10mins of our trip, was magnificent. We then headed off to our first snorkelling spot. Scott knows all the great spots. The kids loved this spot. Scott provides the snorkelling gear and flippers, also a noodle for those who need assistance. Getting in and out of the boat is super easy, it’s definitely an adventure day trip not a boating and chill day. We headed off to a few more snorkeling spots before we stopped for lunch. Lunch was delicious, it was a ham or chicken and salad wrap, grapes and strawberries, almonds and apricots and a protein ball, all in a cute obento style lunch box. The kids approved and ate it all. Definitely bring snacks for morning tea if you have children like mine who need to eat every 60mins lol. Bring your own water. No alcoholic drinks needed on this kind of day trip. No room for an esky, pack light and only bring what you need.

Scott provided rain jackets to keep the wind off you while in your wet gear, which was perfect.

My son was able to get some great drone footage during the day. If you have a go pro definitely bring that too.

Hot showers back at the marina were good before we headed home.

We are locals and I can’t believe we hadn’t done this day trip before. We will definitely do it again.

We were first timers for boating and snorkeling and Scotty’s ability to reassure and guide enabled us to take in, the most gorgeous part of the world we have ever seen.
