Honey House Kuranda

My go to place to get some honey, always make the extra trip up to kuranda for it.
Was recently rewatching hamish and andy caravan if courage and has a really awesome realision that i saw your store/bees when i was 10 yrs old watching tv in brisbane and now its my favourite lical honey store (i drive from mission beach for when i need restock every 12 months)

Absolutely beautiful honey, I love dark rich honey and they had that and so many other varieties to be enjoyed. They even rap them ready for plane travel. Highly recommend stopping here and supporting local business.

The owner rears the honey bees himself and the prices are really attractive here. We got 1kg of lychee honey for abt AUD$16. They come in different sizes and there's free tasting too!

Having enjoyed Kuranda honey at breakfast every morning at Hilton Cairns, I was delighted to find this lovely honey shop is the supplier. Bought a good quantity of honey to enjoy at home. Absolutely delicious!

Alot of different flavors of honey

Came here as a lover of all things honey. My boyfriend sat down with a book in anticipation of how long I can talk and taste honey. The woman working here didn't lift her head up even when I came to the counter with questions. She responded to my question with the tone of someone who hates their job. She was so rude and unhelpful that it left a bad taste in my mouth for hours. Even my boyfriend commented how unhappy she was. I get it that this area is all tourists and it must be hard to deal with. But I was happy and enthusiastic and wanting to hear all about honey and this shop and she gave me a blank stare and a one word answers. Would not recommend for anyone who cares about honey. Such a bummer.
