Sage at Streaky Bay

Our recent stay at Sage at Streaky Bay was nothing short of exceptional, and it's all thanks to Monique for creating such a magnificent retreat, especially appreciated after enduring the recent heatwave in South Australia. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in luxury and warmth, welcomed with a personal note, a delightful wine and platter, and a well-stocked pantry that immediately made us feel at home.

The attention to detail in every aspect of our accommodation was impeccable. The bedding was luxurious, ensuring a restful sleep after our adventurous days. The toiletries added an extra touch of luxury to our stay, making each shower and bath a spa-like experience, enhanced by the lovely scented candles and bath salts provided.

Waking up to the magnificent views of the surrounding area was a daily delight, only to be matched by the twinkling lights of Streaky Bay at night. The access to Netflix allowed us to unwind in the evenings, and the coffee machine, along with the fantastic array of pantry items, ensured our mornings were off to a perfect start.

A special mention must go to the intimate seafood experience organized for Peter’s 60th birthday. Monique went above and beyond to keep the celebration a surprise, from the superb food to the especially requested banoffee cake, which was simply divine. The evening was magical, made even more special by the incredible starry night skies we were treated to.

Sage at Streaky Bay not only provided us with a luxurious haven but also easy access to explore all that the Streaky Bay Area has to offer. Monique's hospitality and attention to detail have truly set a new standard for luxury accommodation. We left feeling rejuvenated, grateful for the wonderful space and the memories we created. Thank you, Monique, for a truly unforgettable experience.

We stayed at Sage at Streaky Bay for two nights and it definitely wasn't long enough. It was immaculately presented on our arrival and Monique our host made sure everything was ready. We couldn't recommend the catering more highly with an incredible range of home cooked meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was the perfect touch which made our stay even more special. The location is amazing with endless beaches to explore in the surrounding areas. Such an incredible stay and we can't wait to be back!!

We had such an incredible at Sage recently. The attention to detail is unmatched and it definitely feels like a home away from home (except much nicer!). We organised catering for the night we arrived of which I would highly recommend - the lasagne was delicious. We also arranged to do the Seafood Dinner on the beach which was an unforgettable experience. The food was amazing, the set up at the beach was spectacular - definitely a must. Monique and Hugo were incredibly accommodating and friendly, the Sage was so comfortable, beautiful and had stunning views. My only complaint is that we didn't stay there longer!

Great location over looking Streaky Bay, wonderful comfortable accommodation, equipment and facilities. and the BEST food ever provided by the Host (Monique) from her extensive menu suitable for any time of day be it breakfast, lunch or dinner ! Words really cannot describe how much we enjoyed our experience at Sage. I can only say "Go there" and experience the house as we did. Don't forget to take a fishing line! But for the wonderful oysters - just ask Monique or go to the shop nearby in Streaky Bay

In one word, BRILLIANT! Our favourite accommodation during our 3 month road trip. We had a wonderful stay at this relaxing oasis, the photos don’t quite do it justice. Fire pit and table tennis table were put to good use, and kids loved the games and second living room. Every detail was immaculately considered and the breakfast goodies were delicious! Monique was very accommodating and ensured a smooth and special stay for us, thank you!!

We recently stayed at Sage for the second time and loved it, the improvements of indoor and outdoor fireplaces (perfect for the winter nights) along with an outdoor shower since we were there last are fantastic. The plants and landscaping around the house have grown/improved and look amazing. Additionally, the breakfast staples and access to local produce are perfect.

We were very lucky to spend a long weekend recently in Sage at Streaky Bay. The house is spacious, modern and comfortable, and the beautiful kitchen was very well equipped, you don’t need to bring a thing, it’s all there! Beds are super comfy and bathrooms along with the whole house is spotless! The view out to the Bay was just picturesque and the Fire Pit was a very cosy spot where we spent most of our nights. Communication with host Monique was excellent and thorough, would highly recommend staying at Sage and we will definantly be back!

Sage was such a delightful place to stay with my family. It felt brand new, everything was super clean and modern and the bedlinen felts as if we were in a luxury hotel. The food home delivered by Hand Made Catering Streaky Bay was delicious and super convenient. Monique went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. The best part is you can pack very minimal as they provide everything you'd need while you are away. We cannot wait to go back and doubt you'd find a nicer place to stay in Streaky Bay.

Sage at Streaky Bay is an absolute delight. The house is beautifully equipped, including many extras you don't often find in holiday accommodation. Situated in a stunning, private location with sweeping views, it's the perfect retreat from which to discover the many attractions of this lovely part of the Eyre Peninsula. Monique and Hugo are ideal hosts; never intrusive, but easy to contact if needed. They obviously take a lot of pride in their property, and their attention to detail never ceased to amaze us. All holiday homes should be this good.

A stunning destination with the most amazing views of Streaky Bay. The house is situated on a beautiful large block and quiet street. Everything is beautifully presented and Monique's attention to detail is next level! The inside of the house is spacious and fully equipped to make your stay relaxing and memorable. Monique is also very friendly and will go above and beyond to ensure your stay is exceptional. I can not recommend Sage at Streaky Bay and look forward to spending more time here in the future!

We got engaged during our stay at Sage Thank you Monique for accommodating this special memory for us. We had the most amazing time and will be back for sure. Jake proposed in the Woolshed caves and it was so magical. You have an amazing house, beautifully presented, the most comfy bed and everything we need. You can’t put a price on that view. Monique you are the best host!

We loved staying at this beautiful home! It has the most relaxing feel and the styling is perfect. Monique has thought of everything you could want, even the kids are catered for! Mr 3 still talks about how he loves his 'Streaky Bay home'.

Our highlight was eating local oysters from Evans Oysters whilst enjoying panoramic views on the deck. Everyone should definitely stay here at least once, we can't wait to come back!

Such a gem on the Eyre Peninsula! I loved my stay at Sage, the interiors and little luxuries, beautiful linens and amazing shower, not to mention the kitchen, fire pit, delicious platter and gluten free goodies left - thank you to Monique for being so thoughtful! While photographing the Yanerbie Dunes and coastal landscapes of the peninsula, this was the perfect base. Waking up to views over the fields towards the bay was so calming!

Sage at Streaky Bay is a magnificent home, great location, exceptional views & beautiful accommodation, it made this trip to Streaky Bay something to remember. We had such a wonderful holiday with our friends from Airlie Beach & Monique is a fantastic host. She is remarkable & went the extra distance to make our time at Sage a truly memorable visit. We will be back again to Sage & highly recommend this accommodation to all.

Monique and Hugo are extremely friendly, yet professional and always go above and beyond to meet our dietary and allergy requests and we can’t express what this means to us. When Monique first asked to cook for us we suggested it would be too difficult. Monique said ‘I love a challenge let me help’! The variety of food is delivered fresh, and is guaranteed delicious.

You go out of your way to incorporate new ways to make our stay memorable every time. The small touches such as surprising the children with a selection books from the local library is one of the many unique reasons as soon as we leave we are planning our next holiday at Sage at Streaky Bay.

Our time at Sage this year was one of the best family holidays we have ever had. We are repeat customers, but the first time we only stayed a few days and were dying to come back for longer! To arrive after a long drive to Monique's delicious lasagne was a wonderful way to kick off a real break from our everyday. While in Streaky we swam with sealions, jumped off jettys, snorkelled and surfed. We ordered platters and pizzas from Monique at other times during the week and everything was delicious, delivered promptly to our door. The evening weather was cool so we were able to enjoy the outstanding fire pit, as well as some fiesty family ping pong competitions. We loved the views of the beach and town and the feeling of being in the country while still being so close to the shops. The beds, towels, chairs and everything in the house is top quality and so comfortable. Having travelled the world over the years I would recommend Sage at Streaky Bay as an absolutely top class experience.

We had such a wonderful winter stay. The fire pit was a hit with the kids. We could see the cows and sheep passing by in the morning. When the nights were too cold we enjoyed the gorgeous house and the indoor fireplace. The hosts have gone above and beyond something I’ll never forget. The fire place and fire pit stacked ready to go. The pizzas made by our hosts were delicious and the kids have requested we must return. I agree!

Monique goes above and beyond to ensure her guests have the most enjoyable and comfortable stay. The house itself is flawless, with everything at the finest quality - even down to the sheets and towels. The stay was nothing short of amazing, and the littlest things made you feel right at home, which is something I believe everyone tries to confide in when booking accommodation.
Streaky Bay is lucky to have a little slice of heaven that isn't a beach or a nice coffee - which is usually what I tend to associate the place with.
