KFC Port Augusta

Arguably the best KFC joint in Australia. Every piece of chicken was fresh with perfect texture and taste. Wonderful service from everyone at the Drive through. Can't believe I found the top KFC spot all the way out in rural SA. Came back thrice and the quality remained consistent.

After a long drive, I sought a warm, hearty meal. We stumbled upon this KFC, and along with my acquaintance, we were pleasantly surprised!

The food was warm, and the zinger box left me adequately satiated! Well done to the team at Port Augusta KFC!

It's KFC. Chicken is cooked and tastes like KFC. Do the chips sometimes have too much salt and other times not enough? Yes, but I came for the chicken. Do they sometimes forget my chips/gravy/coleslaw during peak times? Yes, but I came for the chicken. If you want KFC you'll get it here. Also staff here are mostly pretty good.

Using the ap did order from carpark then KFC server helped me get 10% from my Seniors card. I tried a special of a chicken burger with mash/gravy & chips. The chips were crunchy on outside, steaming hot inside and the gravy was hot & so tasty.

The staff member who was at the front counter was amazing. Very friendly and helpful.
After a long drive, it’s always nice to see a friendly smiling staff member serving.

As always got to order when it's busy or just after open for freshest food, eaten here often. One of the better KFC's I've been to

Update, they released a secret menu, lmao everything on my order was forgotten or switched out with different items.

Myself, 6 other staff and 45 students made a dinner pit stop at the Port Augusta KFC and McDonald's on a long haul journey home from a school camp to central Australia. After we were refused entry to McDonald's despite calling ahead to warn them, we queued 52 people into a near to closing KFC on a Thursday night. The staff were absolutely amazing, polite and efficient. They managed to serve all 52 of us without error and even left the store open later to ensure we could all be served and given time to eat. This kind of service is very hard to come by and my students were incredibly appreciative to get a chance to eat before travelling another 16 hours home. Thank you to all staff working tonight, you're all exceptional.

Ordered my food and received it within 5 minutes. I understand my experience was realitive to a number of factors, but obviously the employees are committed.

Got Lunch from here when passing through. Friendly staff who had good banter when I muddled what I was saying and then gave me an extra tender. Legends.

Good food, quick service

Great stop over on your way to or from Adelaide . Busy place.But quick service. Onsite parking available . As well as drive through . May not be suitable for large vehicles thhough.

Surprisingly, the food quality was better than all KFC restaurants we tried in Adelaide.

Friendly service, short wait, & nice food - the chips needed a bit more salt and the drink was warm but we could only expect as much on a hot day

Amazing the food was absolutely delicious & it was extremely clean - the only thing I did not like was the cold toilet seat. My butt is still cold from that. (LOL)
