Cave Place Units

Stayed one night here on the way from Alice Springs to Adelaide. There was a bit of a mix up with the two units and the people who arrived earlier took the one we'd booked (the above ground unit)
Anyway meant we got to stay in the underground unit, which was a cool experience (both literally and metaphorically lol). It was a stinking hot 41 degrees but downstairs it was so cool and quiet.

Layout has kitchen/dining and bathroom/laundry upstairs with aircon in the kitchen (very much needed lol). Good flow and lots of hot water in the shower (important for me)

Downstairs (underground) is the loungeroom and 2 bedrooms. Both bedrooms have 1 x double/queen bed and one bedroom has an extra single bed. Overhead fans in each bedroom. It was so cool and comfy.

Great location, a bit dated but very clean and comfy and very reasonable price for 2 bedrooms.

Highly recommended. Will definitely stay again

Wow! Even though we stayed over night it was definitely a great experience. Clean and tidy, good facilities and great location. Well priced. Wish we had more time.

Nice semi dug out

I have only 1 complaint about this place and that is that I could not stay longer. lovely little spot and I definitely will be back. May even become my regular stop in as I come past Coober Pedy many times a year. Thank you.

Awesome place to stay

Nice little semi dugout. Priced accordingly. In town, walking distance to everything. Clean and tidy. A little bit of sealing surfaces again, but you only get what you pay for. If you want top of the range in price, this isn't for you. If you are budget travelling, awesome place.

Comfortable rooms good amenities close to shops, etc.

Place was convenient, clean n nice. We booked for 2 nights n ended up with 4 nights. Thank you Gavin and Anne for a nice clean place.

I'm being asked to review based on the fact that I called.. I did In fact call on four separate dates trying to book a holiday for myself and my partner, each time the owner was too busy to deal with us And couldn't be bothered returning a call or even a text so based on that I would say service is one star but having not been there I can't comment on the accommodations or anything else! Give them a shot and decide for yourself :-)

Cozy little place, but no dryer as advertised, wifi password didn't work, and beds were somewhat worn-out and mattress springs can be felt. for the $$ I'd expect a little better.

Cheap. You get what you pay for. The bed fell apart while sleeping on it. The shower head was mounted wrong so sprayed everywhere. The kitchen tap needs replacing.

The dug out section of the unit is peeling and falling apart making the floors and bedding and surfaces all dirty and gritty.
