Great photo spot and with no one else around, we were able to park directly beneath it.

This is a great place to take a photo. Please be courteous. Remember there are other people who want to take a picture with the sign so please don't park your car directly under the sign if others are waiting.

Great sign, big open space to park your car, motorcycle, caravan, and big bus. There were many cars waiting when we first visited, we waited after dinner and there is no one there. Took some nice pictures and even did a motorcycle jump next to the sign.

Love funky town signs - stopping here and taking a picture is a must :-)

Iconic place of Coober pedy. I think everybody drive thru this town who will take a pic with this sign. Very big vacant land. You can also take a break if u don’t wanna drive into the town.

A very unique town to stay & travel for one or two days.

Pretty cool photo opportunity on entry to Cooper Pedy.
Worth stopping for the iconic photo.
Nothing else there like toilets fuel etc but only about 2 mins prior to arriving in Cooper Pedy town.

was driving past and saw a couple of drunks and a fat guy climbing onto the actual sign. I could of swore as I drove past I heard one of them say something about a "geo cache"?
