Professor A. Simon Carney

Got referred to Prof Carney after recurring tonsilitis over last 3 years. He is very genuine and caring but straight to the point which is excellent. He understood it was affecting my quality of life and got me booked within a week. The whole team are lovely and the receptionists are very warm and welcoming, hospital stay at Flinders Private has been fantastic and he has visited me 3 times to check in within the last 24 hours, fabulous bedside manner. Can't wait to live life without tonsilitis! Thanks so much!

Professor Carney was exceptional and saw my daughter promptly, the reception staff at Adelaide Specialist Group were all attentive, warm and helpful. As soon as I entered the clinic I felt welcomed and cared for. I am so grateful for the service they provided us.

Just came from the final appointment with Professor Carney after having a neck cancer removed 5 yrs ago.
He did an amazing job and now can't even see the scar.
He liasoned every step of the way with the radiologist and his follow up was good. Even helped me with my sinus problems.
I couldn't recommend him more highly. Also his office staff were brilliant, reminding me of appointments and referrals.

operation to stop snoring - tonsils, uvula and tongue channeling. received amazing care from Dr Carney and his team. not as painful as other people (who had same operation), had warned me about. Main reason i believe was the care and pain management that Dr Carney provided.

Amazing amazing amazing Doctor and also a great person in general. He operated on me many times now and every time with the most professional approach. He always took my difficult medical needs into consideration and always made feel safe and well looked after. I could not recommend him highly enough. Professional, understanding and brilliant. He is not arrogant at all, he is at the top of his profession and very caring to his patients and putting their needs first. Could not give any higher marks if you need to an ENT that listens to his patients.

Probably the most impersonal and unpleasant experience of a specialist after waiting a few months to be seen with no real conclusion.
It was like being hearded through at the fastest rate with other patients shoved in with any gaps. Carney doesn't seem to listen, nor seem interested in the questions he asks as he rapidly talks over the answers, with knowledge abounding. $275 + script for painkillers.

Dr Simon Carney. The most arrogant, egotistical doctor I have ever encountered. In particular you, I can't see any inter-professional communication in between you and other health professional. So you can not even confirmed a dose and totally ignored patient's preference?? or you are just lack of confidence? Your arrogant resist discussion and that could cause detrimental consequences to a patient. Such ashamed
