Kimberley Wild Expeditions - Best Value Kimberley Tours

In late June, early July 2024, I was lucky enough to complete a 14 day tour of the Kimberley region with the team from Kimberley Wild Expeditions. Our guides for this tour, Gareth and Kayla, were brilliant. Their extensive knowledge of the area was brilliant and happily shared to all. They ensured that all travellers on the tour were briefed and comfortable with all aspects of our day and night activities - whether it was guiding us along to one of the many Gorges that we visited OR driving us to our next destination OR with helping us set up our tents and swags at night OR preparing and cooking the many yummy meals we consumed. Their attention to all the little details was second to none. Thank you Gareth and Kayla - you made our 14 days around the Kimberley incredibly enjoyable and memorable.

The 5 day Broome to Bungle Bungles tour was excellent. Our tour guide Clancy went above and beyond - cooked us delicious meals, and organised the entire journey really well. He was joyful, helpful and so welcoming to everyone. Best tour guide ever. Hikes at Bungle Bungles were stunning, loved the cave swimming and seeing Winjana Gorge. The Kimberley Wild Expeditions camp at Bungle Bungles was fantastic - great permanent tents, fantastic dining area and beautiful open fire pits for nights around the fire under the stars. Cannot recommend this trip enough.

I can recommend this tour, as well as the guide and host, as exceptional. Clancy and Liv provided us with the experience of a lifetime. With a wealth of local knowledge and experience they showed us the Gorges, water features and hidden locations with humour, patience and superb organisation. Their food was outstanding and varied satisfying the myriad requirements presented by the group. Hint- take the 30 minute helicopter ride over the Bungle Bungles.

Awesome trip with great guides. Food great and plentiful. Tunnel creek is a highlight. Water was high and we swam about 10m but well worth it. We did 5 days camping to Bungle Bungles. Most of our tour had people over 60 with about 8 over 80 and they did everything and swam, climbed over boulders and went everywhere! Well done them and Kimberley wild for trusting them! And the group was very supportive! Awesome!!!!

Just got back from the most amazing 14 day tour of the Kimberleys. Tour was Kimberley Trail. We booked as an Intrepid basix trip. Five nights of put up our own tents or swags and eight nights in safari tents. It was clearly going to be good from the moment we boarded the 4WD safari truck/bus in Broome. Super comfortable vehicle even when driving along the craziest corrugated roads. Our guides Zane and Pat were fantastic. Zane so passionate about the Kimberley and the local indigenous communities. Pat just finishing his first year. I hope he stays. Funny, equally passionate and a bloody good cook to boot. Not ever going to complain that they were both cute as too! Way too many highlights to list. So much incredible aboriginal art. Incredible scenery. Well paced walks. Great camps. Helicopter flights. So lucky to have been on Zane's last trip. Do this trip!!!

We did the 5 Day Bungle Bungle tour and it was simply amazing!! Pat and Sara were really great guides, always taking care of us and explaining tons of things about the story and the wildlife of the territory. Despite the long drives we were never bored. Great meals, always different. Accommodations were alsways clean and the guides always helped us with every doubt or question. Simply the best company you can rely on for a Kimberley Tour. Highly recommended!!

Highly recommend touring with Kimberley Wild. Great air conditioned trucks and fantastic guides who are also the best cooks! Food was amazing, every day. We did the 14 day Kimberley Trail in June 2023 and can highly recommend it. Great value for money and we had a ball without the worry of our car breaking down!

My husband and I recently completed the 13 day Kimberly Wild adventure and it was a trip of a lifetime. The camping aspect of the tour meant that we were amongst the grass roots of all that the Kimberly region had to offer. Both of our tour guides were unbeleivably skilled and knowledgable. Jessicas calm nature exuded a sense of control when the curve balls from the Kimberly region were thrown at us; Covid, tyres blown, broken wrist from a slip, and Air con hose blown. In every case Jess and Savannah ensured that we were not delayed in our itinerary and if possible added extra experiences for us along the way. Jessica found positive in every adversity, embracing late sunsets when we were running a bit late due to a blown tyre and was up at 3-00 am to ensure we enjoyed early morning sunrise at the Bungle Bungles and got the very best out of every day. The Kimberly region is amazing, however the experiencewas made even better because of the enthusiastic, capable and knowplegable duo of tour leaders, Jessica and Savannah.

Such an amazing experience...I can't recommend it highly enough. The tour guide Clancy made the holiday really special...so organised and knowledgeable of the Kimberly's and its history, a true trogan, he went out of his way to fit as much as possible in to give us a lifetime experience, and blended with the group seamlessly. The food was delicious and plentiful, the accommodation was really comfy and the campfires amazing. Visiting the main attractions was spectacular but also the smaller touches such as the indigenous art galleries and spending some time with the locals and hearing their stories was just wonderful. We were truly a family for the 5 days and had so much fun. I wish it didn't have to end.

We did a day trip to Cape Leveque with Kimberley wild.

Awesome day. Itinerary was altered due to covid restrictions, but that just allowed more time in some places.

Cygnet bay pearl farm was very good and informative. Lunch was on their verandah overlooking the bay.

Cape Leveque is outstanding, and didn't dinner nice time swimming and enjoying the scenery.

Our recent Kimberley Wild 13 day camping tour was an incredible experience. We were so lucky to have two great guides in Gareth and Danny, who went out of their way to make our tour special and worked tirelessly to make sure we were very well looked after. It was great having access to already established camps - this was definitely the most comfortable camping tour I have ever been on! We visited beautiful places and were lucky to experience the Kimberley with so much water around.
All my communication with the Kimberley Wild team got prompt responses and I was very impressed with their efficiency. I absolutely recommend travelling with this excellent company.

Went, yesterday on the day tour to Windjana Gorge and Tunnel Creek with our fabulous guide and driver Gary. A amazing adventure that was educational, very professionally conducted and above all great fun. Excellent food at well timed breaks. Gary did an outstanding job

With limited time we chose the 5 day Bungles tour - the Kimberley was more than we expected. Note to read the itinerary well - you do spend many hours in the bus and some roads are rough - And you do need to pack your own alcohol if you wish to have a drink by the fire at the end of the day, you cannot buy it on the road. The planned walks, tours, stops and camping places were great. What made our experience fantastic were the guides, Clancy and Emma. They kept us running like a well oiled machine, entertaining and educating us with in depth local knowledge - they work extremely hard, coordinated a varying group, cooking abundant and tasty food, all with great humour, warmth and professionalism. Thank you Clancy and Emma, your leadership and giving natures made our holiday experience very memorable - Kim and Tim

What a fantastic experience and way to explore all the Kimberley’s has to offer. My wife and I just completed a 13 day trip and loved all the places we went. Kimberley Wild team made this journey fun and informative. We lost the A/C on the bus, we had 2 flat tyres alone the way but the guides handled all the issues with total professionalism and ease. Savannah made the trip a pleasure making every day fun and full of laughter, yet dealing with some stressful situations with patience, kindness and caring and always with a smile. Savannah & Jess were an amazing team and if all staff are like these two, every trip would would be full of fantastic & fun memories of exploring such a diverse part of Australia. Fantastic once in a lifetime experience! The gorges, and sites you visit are spectacular! The Bungle bungles and the gorges at El Questro were my highlights, as well as Manning Gorge! I did the 11 day tour with Joe and Gareth. Two of the nicest, kindest, hardest working guides you will have the pleasure of getting to know. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Joe feeds you scrumptious meals and Gareth did the guiding and driving with expertise! I will be back!

A fast paced, well run 5 day tour that encompassed many incredible natural wonders, some hiking and special interactions with first nations people. Our guides, Clancy and Emma worked tirelessly to ensure that our trip was enjoyable. They prepared and cooked really good quality food and made sure that we ran on time so that all activities could be enjoyed. I would recommend this tour to anyone that has limited time to visit the Kimberleys.
