Outback Motel Mt Isa

Very comfortable room. Within easy walk of the QFES fire station for training. Friendly staff and good food at the restaurant. Only fault is that the restaurant is not open on Sunday evenings for dinner.

Always prefer to stay here. Great rooms, service and staff, food and location. No need to look any further.

After giving up on all the other places in town that serve breakfast, we thought we'd give this place a go. We heard this place did good brekky a few months back but never gave it a second thought. Here we are kicking ourselves for not trying it sooner.
The menu is quite impressive compared to others and the food is way better. The ingredients used, the way it was cooked, the short wait after ordering, the reasonable pricing, friendly staff and most importantly, the atmosphere. Combined, it makes for a great start for the day having a great breakfast experience with these guys.
Keep up the good work. You have earned a pair of regular weekend breakfast customers in your restaurant. Looking forward to starting our day on a high note next weekend.

We didn't stay in the rooms but the service and the warmth from the staff in the restaurant was fabulous! We actually came twice during our three days in Isa. So friendly and happy to share the sites and have a chat
The team only too happy to split a meal over two plates for our little ones. And even gave them a colouring set each!

Stayed at the Outback motel for 2 weeks with work commitments, John and Lee along with the rest of the team made my stay very comfortable and was always greeted with a smile, great selection of food and cooked to perfection, quiet clean rooms, nothing was ever too much to ask for, look forward to stay again soon.

Stayed here for work and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly hospitality and great food. Upon arrival you receive a mini cheese board and can order room service! I had a great brekky and coffee and loved it. Clean room and comfortable bed. Thanks for having me.

The best motel in the Isa, great central location to walk into town whilst being quiet. The rooms are always very clean and nice touches with ample facilities . What I really like is the friendly smiles and authentic staff behind the counter and in their restaurant. Have stayed every year recently and will be back again. Thanks team at Outback Mt Isa 🙂

The staff were super friendly , professional and always ready to help. I had a few meals from the restaurant room serviced straight to my door and was very satisfied each time . My room was cleaned on a daily basis with fresh toiletries , handmade biscuits , water bottles , coffee /tea re all stocked daily. The cold a/c , smart tv , wifi, bbq and all the aforementioned above made it a home away from home. Can’t thank you guys enough for making my first stay in Mt Isa a great and memorable one. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommended !

Nice big immaculate rooms where a welcoming cheese platter and room environment adjustment are there to enjoy on arrival.

Great place to stay! Friendly and very helpful staff, clean, fresh-looking room, room was AC'ed and scented before we arrived and it was great stepping into a cool room from a hot day outside. In our room (4) there were at least 3 spots for laptops to work comfortably. Unfortunately internet is not that strong and/or fast in the room.

There is a restaurant next to reception, atmosphere is nice, food was nice, we really enjoyed "Smashed avo" (avocado, Feta and eggs with toasted sourdough).

Food was good. The new managers are great and friendly.
Good coffee and they went made sure we got a coffee on leaving early in the morning.

Good for an overnight. Easy booking and check-in with super friendly reception staff.
The mattress was not firm enough for our liking, but we still had a decent nights sleep before hitting the road again.

Terri is very personable and friendly, she works hard at making your stay enjoyable and does her best to make sure any requests are met. The restaurant has great reasonably priced food and drinks. Housekeeping does a wonderful job and the rooms are spotless. Room rates are very competitive. Highly recommended, the best in Mount Isa.

Really happy to stay 5 nights in dissability connecting rooms. We're 5 members with life support quadriplegic. The manager allowed us to do whatever to suit us within the rooms and very helpful with all service requirements, even though limited cleaning staff due to Xmas break. The rooms were very clean and tidy and well laid out. Definitely will come again if we back to Mount Isa.

Spotlessly clean combined with luxuriously comfortable beds, which were really appreciated after driving for so long. Nice cold air con destroyed the 39 deg temp outside, and Sue, the manager/chef/Jill of all trades, goes out of her way to make sure that your stay is the best it can be.

You won't regret spending a night, or a few, at Outback Motel, Mt. Isa.

Very friendly lady at the service desk called Terry. Evening meal was cooked to perfection and the room was beautiful. Very clean, quiet and relaxing, just lovely 😊 Real milk in the fridge on arrival, not those silly milk caps which adds no value to a consumers stay. Also chilled water.

We stayed here twice in the space of 10 days, the room was beautiful and clean, beds super comfortable and the gentlemen running it absolutely lovely. We will definitely stay here again!

Our room was well presented and very clean. The motel is close to town and supermarkets making it easy to get around. Terry was so helpful and lovely to deal with making check in easy. Will be back to stay again without a doubt!
