Aviani Persimmon Farm 감농장 단감

It was our first time picking persimmons. The farm owner, Sarah, was very friendly and explained the different varieties and their flavors. She provided scissors and fruit peelers. When the persimmons were too high, her husband used a ladder to help us pick them. Today, we picked Fuyu persimmons, which were fragrant, sweet, and crisp. We picked many and took lots of photos, enjoying a wonderful experience！We will come again next year🤩

What a wonderful experience! A must visit when the persimmons are in season, the owner and lady shown us the farm is so lovely! We learned a lot and had an amazing time trying out their fruit and got a few bags to take home 🤩

We visited here on the last Sunday of April. Their persimmons were amazing. I won 7.4 kg and paid $75 including the entrance fee. It wasn't a reasonable price, but it was a good experience. You must take a reusable bag with you.

My favourite go to place to get my yearly fix of persimmons! I get all 3 varieties each time - Fuyu, Nightingale and Yemen. All taste amazing each year and the family that owns the farm and business are super lovely and friendly. 🧡

You can tell the host is passionate about their persimmon. Sarah guided us to have a fantastic harvest session. They provide quality snips (free to borrow) and I recommend you stick to those. Shed by the gate sell more varieties than we can pick on the day. Farm dog bang bang was a great companion playing with us when we took photos in the gold persimmon leaf field. These crispy ones tasted great straight off the tree. Book ahead, they are busy!

Great place for Persimmon picking. You need to book in advance, but you can try to walk in. That's what we did. It's a good thing the owner's granddaughter is good enough to accommodate us (thanks) 👍💫
We had a good time, kudos to the family owners.

Farmhouse persimmon sales. The folks here are friendly. No tours, they aren't approved for it yet, but you could take a peek at the trees from the makeshift car park area if you want. They have three varieties depending on what part of the season you land, in 2023 you can get all 3 around mid may. The standard fuyu is crisp. The nightingale, similar to hachiya, with its big size and the suruga that looks like baby fuyu, are both astringent and need to be ripened before you eat them, don't be impatient and you'll be rewarded with jelly insides. Their little parking space on the grass inside the farm can probably only fit about 5 cars but it seems to keep busy during the season even without the tours.

I've been to some different farms for persimmon.
Finally, i found the best one yesterday and 3 of us bought almost 15 kg.
Entry fee : $10 (I belive it is very reasonable)
Price : $7.5 per kg

We were warmly welcome by the owner, a sweet family as sweet as the persimmon. The fruits are surprisingly tasty even eat with skin on. A superb Saturday morning, thanks Sarah and Carol.
