Bushlands Tourist Park

We had a family get-together here in Windeyer and booked into the Bushlands Tourist Park. Wow, what more can you ask for the cabins were situated with easy access and very clean with a bonus, beautiful peacocks meandering around the park. But wait, there is more the most excellent pub right next door. The Gold and Fleece hotel with fantastic staff and great food to be had and a nice cold beer on the outdoor eating area. I will definitely come back again soon and highly recommend it to travellers coming to the Mudgee Wine district

A beautiful little get away spot in the rolling green hills of Windeyer. It's so peaceful, relaxing & quiet here. The hosts of the park are really friendly. The wildlife is plentiful & the grounds are very well kept & maintained. I'd definitely go back.

I have stayed there 3 or 4 times, each time in the cottage for $140 a night, along with 2 others. It was spotlessly clean each time we went there, including the linen. Warm and cosy place in winter too. The people are very friendly and you can stroll up to the pub where they are real friendly as well. There is a general store on site with heaps of bread, milk, other basic supplies. We loved it and we're going back again in a week and a half. Value for sure. If you like birdlife, take your camera.....

Great place to stay. While it was great fun touring the interesting places during the day , it was relaxing to be back at the caravan park during the evening and night .The people are very helpful and friendly and make you feel very welcome.

So relaxing , we stayed a week on a powered site and loved our stay here . Colin, Rhoda , Julie & Jodie were so helpful & friendly , shop at the park has most basics which is great . Hotel next door was great . Wonderful place to chill out .

Rhoda is a lovely person who's always smiling and so welcoming. She has a great piece of land that's well looked after. We camped for a couple of days at an unpowered site and had a lovely time sleeping under the stars to the music of nature and waking up to the rising sun and the calls of beautiful birds. There are a couple of splendid coloured peacocks, their missuses and kids at the property that add to the value. The amenities block was clean and centrally located in the park. The grocery store at the reception has almost everything you'll need. Looked a very happy place.

A beautiful serene place for a short break especially if you like to wake up with the sounds of birds, adore the night sky and want to be away from the city madness. There are range of accomodation options you can choose from. Me and husband pitched a tent but if you have a family with kids, try the beautiful looking train carriage(pic attached) to spend a night or two! The owner is very sweet and helpful lady, you will feel really welcomed here.

Rhoda and Colin are friendly, accommodating to all requests and enquires.
The park is tranquil, the peacocks are outstandingly beautiful plus amusing.
Amenities are clean well presented.
The is also relaxing reading books available during your stay.
Close to fossicking areas.
The tranquility enhances inspiration for the creative spirit.

The Golden Fleece hotel is next door providing good country meals serviced to you by their friendly efficient staff. Happy to help with all requests.
Great place to spend New Year Eve.

We enjoyed our stay at Bushmans, Rhoda and Collin were fantastic at accomadating 13 motorcycle riders. Vary confitable cabins and clean. There is a good outdoor kitchen and purchased all the ingrediance from the park shop and fire pits etc

I stayed overnight this last weekend with my motorbike group. I was in a basic cabin which was clean and well equipped. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Great place to get away.

What a great holiday park, especially because it's next to the pub🤣. We stayed on the train and it's clean and fresh in sisi.The owners and Julie were so lovely. We will be back thanks guys

I live locally and have not stayed at Bushlands however I visit the onsite store for any groceries I need. A well stocked store. With a good convenience store onsite and a pub next door, you have everything you need.

Got to love this well run little caravan park. I stayed in the train carriage and it was excellent. The owners are friendly and helpful. I gave it a well deserved 5 stars

Enjoyed my 2 nights stay.the new owner was friendly and very helpful.the amenities were clean.Had good Telstra mobile phone coverage.Highly recommend if your thinking of heading down to go prospecting.then after a day of chasing gold head to the pub next door.

Beautiful Service, fantastic for a tourist park. Our kids loved the Train Carriage we stayed in. Not even a minutes walk next door for tea and a beverage.
