Ba Mack Farmstay was that of dreams and where special memories are made you will remember forever. Julie and Kate made us all feel like family from the moment we arrived. There is everything for kids to make their stay fun and adventure filled.
Julie provides so much delicious food and her scones are to die for. The eggs for breakfast picked straight from the coop are the best you’ll eat.
For me an animal lover and the soul of a country girl the animals we had the honour of spending our time with made me the happiest woman on earth. Pigs, horses, sheep, ducks, chickens, roosters, cats, birds and even a kangaroo!
Any stress felt like a world away. We are already planning our next stay.
Thanks again Julie and Kate. You have no idea truly how much this weekend away meant to me and my family.

Absolutely had an amazing time!!!

Julie and Kate are such amazing people and make you feel as part of the family as soon as you arrive!

Our family had such a great time being on the farm, learning about the wool industry, feeding all the animals and spending time getting to know Julie and Kate. Plus our daughter loved the horse rides.

As the previous review said... "you have no idea what the stay meant to her family", we share those same sentiments. It's an experience that will last a lifetime.

Thank you guys so much and hope to see you guys soon!

Ba Mack farm is a delightful treasure - a salve for the those in dire need of rest, & a little piece of magic for the young, & the young at heart.
Cosy, sweet & immaculately kept accomodation awaits guests, & farmers Julie & Kate go above & beyond to ensure everyone has a wonderful experience when staying with them, providing more food then you can possibly eat, interactive experiences with the animals, education about sheep farming, childcare & more. A truly wonderful hands on experience that I will always remember fondly.

We have visited many times and thorough enjoy the hospitality, quality of accommodation and enjoying the fresh air!

It is suitable for kids of all ages! The variety of animals in the yard allows everyone to choose a favourite. There is a mix of domestic and farm animals on hand.

The inclusion of a horse ride on a lead in the tariff is bonus - particularly for those who have had little contact with horses.

Julie and Kate really want to show you the country lifestyle and have great patience in explaining the why and how for the activities. If you are lucky this may be bottled feeding some lambs (in season) or why not to walk behind a horse.

Very hands on and educational if you want it to be. Please enjoy.

We stayed in the carriage with our two kids. Julie has put in so much effort to make it cosy and comfortable. This is the best farmstay we have experienced. The kids loved the variety of animals, feeding, collecting eggs and horse riding. The adults were also able to relax as Julie offers a kids club in the afternoon. Highly recommend!

We stayed 4 nights with our children and had a wonderful stay. I would recommend this farm stay to everyone. The accomodation is very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The kids loved feeding the animals, riding the horses and baking afternoon tea with Julie. They also loved going to ‘kids club’ whilst we visited local wineries. I recommend a trip to the local observatory as well.

What a fantastic place! We stayed in the self-contained cottage and enjoyed a generous country breakfast every morning and Devonshire Tea every afternoon.
The hosts were so generous with everything.
We enjoyed exploring near-by Mudgee, but the highlights were definitely the farm animals - horses, ponies, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, pigs, dogs & cats etc - and getting to feed and interact with them. The led pony ride was the highlight for our son.

We had a fantastic stay. Our daughter is 2 years old and was nervous at first with all the animals but warmed up over the few days we were there. She especially loved the horse riding and feeding wilbur the pig.

Julie and Kate are fantastic hosts. Brekky simple but delicious especially the eggs straight from their chooks! One day i went to their house (only 20m from the cottage we were staying in) and Julie was lovingly nursing a newborn lamb who was left behind by its mum!

This was a wonderful experience. We stayed in the converted rail carriage. It was cosy and unique. 5 year old son loved it. Julie and Kate have created something special here on a working farm. Loads of friendly animals for kids to get close to and enjoy.

We had the most fantastic time here, the kids were outside for the entire time, painting the white "unicorn", making scones, jumping on the trampoline, playing with the puppies, the birds, the sheep, the chickens and the pig! They loved the horse rides and it was just a wonderful stress-free country stay. We loved climbing up the hill to watch the stunning Mudgee sunset, and sitting by the fire at night. Julie and Kate epitomise country hospitality and I would love to return.

We had a fantastic getaway. Lots of laughter and fun. Horse rides. Marshmallows toasted on the bonfire. Lots of friendly animals. Stayed in the red railway carriage which has been lovingly restored and converted into family accommodation. Would recommend a visit to anyone. Will be going back for sure.

This place is AMAZING, the owner Julie is so friendly and accommodating. The country hospitality and holiday unit is the best we have stayed at (you have to see the train carriage). My kids loved the daily horse rides and all the free roaming farm animals. Definitely on our return list....

We’ve been to a lot of farms and I got to say this is the best one I’ve been so far. We had a farm tour. It’s so much more personal and you get to be a farmer for a day. Not commercialized at all. Such a lovely time to speak with Farmer Julie and Kate. Very educational for everyone to learn about a working farm 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The best get away to switch off from the busyness of the city life! Animals are so friendly and kids loved them and didn't want to leave them all behind! Julie is very hospitable and having freshly homemade bread just added to the country experience. Thank you will see you all again!

Great place to take the family and stay on a farm and participate in farming life. Horse riding is available for those who like to. Make sure you have some of the owners special scones.
