Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre

Gunyama Park Aquatic Centre is a top-notch facility offering a variety of pools and fitness amenities.

The indoor and outdoor pools are clean and well-maintained, perfect for swimming laps or casual dips. There's also a fantastic hydro pool for a dip in the winter and a modern gym.

The only downside is the lack of free parking, but the overall experience makes it worth the visit. A great spot for fitness enthusiasts and families alike!

The facilities here are excellent - the indoor pool is great for kids and families to enjoy. The outdoor pool is fantastic for doing laps, and the change room facilities are spacious and clean. Staff are friendly, helpful and professional, and the kids love the chippies from the cafe. Also there is an INCREDIBLE AstroTurf soccer pitch just outside that is really good for training, throwing a Frisbee around and taking the dog for a walk (laps around the pitch) and there is also a good introductory outdoor fitness gym there too.

The whole place has a fabulous atmosphere and I often drive there on my lunch break just to eat my lunch and walk laps around the pitch.

Highly recommend for anyone and everyone!

What truly sets Gunyama Park apart, however, is its staff. Each member of the team is not just professional but also genuinely friendly and welcoming. Their attentiveness and eagerness to assist made my visit smooth and enjoyable. It's clear that they take pride in ensuring visitors have a great time, maintaining both the facilities and a warm, inclusive atmosphere with exceptional care.

Great place to swim 🏊‍♀ the day away, I thoroughly enjoyed myself, it's got massively big swimming areas so there's plenty of room for kids, tourists and the general public. what a well thought out facility. Just one of the nicest pools in the City of Sydney precinct. Relatively new , the pools sparkle both indoors and outside. Great place for kids of all levels of swimming ability. Bathrooms are really clean, showers are warm & spacious. Staff are keen to go the extra mile when it comes to using gym equipment . Plenty of classes to chose from both in the gym and in the pools.

Enormous gratitude to Samantha for her exceptional reformer classes! They've been immensely helpful from pregnancy to postpartum and beyond. Without her expert guidance, I wouldn't have found my stride again. Highly recommend! Samantha's motivation is infectious; her classes feel more like enjoyable experiences than workouts. She has a knack for making fitness addictive in the best possible way! 😘

A great and clean swimming pool !! The water actives were great but we didn't use it. My son just liked floating around in the pool .. Very clean better then what we have in our area.. the life guards were great. They actually walked around.. very observant. unlike others that sit on there high chairs.. the outdoor pool looks amazing too but we didn't go. Too much fun indoors.

The while facility was clean, not a rubbish in sight. The front desk clerks were also very polite and good !

Concrete glass and wood construction. I am bemused that technically we haven't moved on from the noise pollution theses concrete building have a problem with. The noise echoes and amplifies throughout .plus they have taken the bad decision to add loud radio station noise. The radio is so loud in change rooms carnt speak. Just spoils the place.

Little Cafe is inviting. Will definitely be returning for swim and bring own munchies.

I would like to add the cafe now has some vegan options. Reasonably priced and delicious.

Super excited that this place has finally opened up! Excellent facilities! From the sports field, circuit, pools, spa, kids areas, cafe and the gym upstairs - simply superb. Looking forward to many days spent here.
Parking may not be the easiest around here though. It’s all metered for 2 hours from 8am-10pm. Although, there’s plenty of buses around and a short 5min walk from Green Square station.

Always have a great time. Pool is clean and the changerooms are spacious with bench for changing, showers and rack for shoes. Shout out to Charlie the friendly duty manager / lifeguard, top bloke at the top of his game.

A great local facility with multiple swimming pools and facilities for families and children, plus a synthetic Sports ground for all sorts of sporting activities. Plus a running track/path around the whole facility with exercise equipment as well. Casual swim visits are available.

Love the pilates classes in gunyama! Have been coming here almost every weekday for the past couple of months, and I am still enjoying the classes. All the teachers are great! Would definitely recommend trying the group classes here.

Great new council pool with gym + exercise classes upstairs. The front desk can get very clogged on sunny weekend days. Maybe they should install a self serve ticket machine for casual swimmers.

Don't leave anyone at home! Take your kids and parents to enjoy swimming in a great Aquatic and Recreation Centre! Pools are excellent. The hydro pool is great.
Hope they'll make a car park for such a fantastic Centre!

Gunyama Park is an excellent addition to the network of City of Sydney Aquatic and Leisure Centres - it's my go-to pool for swimming whenever I'm in or near the Sydney CBD. The centre's location is convenient to access by buses from the City (304, 320, 343) and also a short walk from Green Square railway station and library. Although I don't use the gym, the aquatic facilities and change rooms are clean, well designed and well-maintained. With so many pools to choose from, serious lap swimmers, those wanting to cool off from the heat, people recovering using hydrotherapy and kids/parents wanting to have a splash in the indoor play area can all access these aquatic facilities here at Gunyama Park. There is also a cafe here within the centre. The staff at the front desk are friendly, helpful and attentive to all your fitness needs.

Great to see what a modern, sustainable and accessible aquatic centre looks like. Clean pool, friendly staff and a wide range of facilities. Lockers and parking are currently free but looks like they'll eventually charge. Recommend you walk, ride or catch public transport.

Super swim resort for all ages. The children's facilities are great fun and the separate spa pool is well worth a visit after your main swim for extra warm relaxation.
