Motel Maclean

the stopover was for one night during a return road trip from Queensland. We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the motel, which was booked on- line. The room presented very well, appearing to have been recently refurbished, as was the bathroom. The toiletries provided were of not of a "budget" variety, which was very nice. Overall, we would highly recommend this motel due to the high standard of its fitout and also its location, being on the edge of town.

Fantastic little Motel to stop at if you're passing by or visiting the area. We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed ourselves. Microwave and kettle in the room, but also additional appliances such as toaster, iron etc available from reception. The sunsets from outside the room were beautiful. Be quick to book, there are only 10 rooms in total. Thanks Motel Maclean.

Over all 5 star experience, I would recommend and will stay here again. Refreshing newly renovated Motel really close to the Motorway. Everything was spotless and really enjoyable with simple new furniture.

Reception opening times are a bit short, and it required a bit more calls to arrange late check in vs. other motels but overall really helpful receptionist. They even turned the A/C on so the room is really chilled for our arrival.

The room even has a great view and a decent pool, which we didn't use but looked really big and clean.

Very good little motel just off the highway. Staff contacted me before closing the office, left my key in the door and made check in/check out very easy. Clean, decent sized rooms, good shower and bathroom, comfy bed. Couldn't ask for much more from an overnight rest stop. Easy walk into town for a beer at the pub or breakfast at a café.

Last week we had an overnight stay. This is certainly a terrific place to stay. Nicely updated rooms, spotlessly clean, a great pool for that after dip. The owner Sammy was very friendly and welcoming. Recommended and we will stay again. Warwick

Lovely motel, sparkling clean located off the freeway, no traffic noise. Pretty views of sunset over the river below. Friendly, helpful staff.

We enjoyed our two-night stay at Motel Maclean. The motel is ideally located on the outskirts of Maclean with a great view of the Clarence River and the surrounding area. The room was clean and well equipped and the owner friendly and helpful.

Clean and comfortable rooms, great service and a convenient location with river views. Bonus is the beautiful hot tub overlooking the river.

The motel manager was so gracious in going beyond to accommodate my requirements recently during a visit to McLean for a funeral.
The space was really beautifully layer out on a hill with views of the river.
Just a few minutes from town , the location was wonderful.
Truly grateful for how well I was taken care of .
I will always return to this place of stay if I’m in area .

This is a great Motel. Rooms are clean and the bed is very comfortable. They provide a microwave, plates and cutlery making it very easy to grab a takeaway. Pool area is nice and the staff are really pleasant

The motel has had a recent refurbishment and it has been done well, making the best of the mid-century origins. The room is a standard motel size but it feels open and spacious - they have made the most of the large, plate-glass windows and chosen the fittings and furniture well. Service was excellent - easiest check-in I've had in a long time.

Booked this place purely for it's location to break up a long drive, and what a great choice. The young lady that checked us in was friendly, welcoming and quick. Room was a big surprise, very clean and well maintained with obvious efforts taken in selecting furniture, appliances, etc. Will definitely stay here again.

We were staying at another motel and had to stay another night because of the weather .and where we were staying was booked out rang at 8 am and told the lady our plight ,we were in a room shortly after 10am The motel has been newly renovated and is very well done .We could not fault the rooms or the service we were given and all at a quite reasonably price .Maclean is one of our go to places and from now on so will Motel Mackean

Chose here to stop on the way up to Gold Coast, the pool and spa were very welcome, room cleaned and bed comfy would recommend, met the owner who was very helpful and pointed us in the direction of food options, also nice area to have a run although hilly

Lovely modern room at a bargain price. The room appears to be newly renovated. Very clean and cosy. Comfortable bedding. Close to the main road, but can't hear any road noise. A steal of a deal. 10/10 would stay again.

Whoever chose the decor for this room has lovely taste!

Very clean rooms good value for money for an overnight stop. But it's hard to find in the dark after thank you.
