Banh Mi Corner

Had theor food via delivery and dine in, both times were good. Food is cheap, generous and delicious! Loved their rice noodle salads with lemon grass beef. The restaurant itself is small, but seats were laid out apart, so feel like there is plenty of room. Service was friendly and food came out fairly quick.

Today marked my first visit to “Banh Mi Corner,” and out of all the Banh Mis I’ve devoured in my lifetime, their Crispy Pork Banh Mi takes the crown.

Despite being a Banh Mi connoisseur (or so I thought), nothing prepared me for this taste bud revolution. The crispy bread enveloping the tender pork and fresh veggies was like a flavor orchestra playing a symphony on my palate.

And let’s not forget the magic it worked at home – turning a battlefield into a banter-filled breakfast. It’s official; “Banh Mi Corner” doesn’t just serve sandwiches; they’re culinary wizards creating harmony in marriages, one incredible Banh Mi at a time.

While you can’t tell from the picture, the Banh MI’s were packed full of fresh goodness and delicious! The chilli, sweet, salt and flavour had the right balance.
We ordered Roasted Pork Belly, BBQ Pork and Lemongrass Beef.
They cost a little extra, but good for a special treat.

A great experience overall. The new shop is well decorated with a bright and open space. The fresh-made Banh Mi was delicious, we had the crispy pork banh mi and a mixed rice bowl. (Sorry no pictures since we were so hungry :P)

Their drinks are also worth a try. We ordered the Thai Boba Milk Tea and were lucky to have the avocado smoothies (out of menu) as requested.

Amazing experience at this little hidden gem. Their banh mi is huge and full of toppings. Normally I have to eat 2 rolls but one was enough to make me full today. The staff are nice and friendly, even gave my little toddler a cute gift. Definitely going back here and try out all the different options they have. One very happy customer!

This restaurant has the best pho that I've found in Brisbane so far. The takeaway presentation is beautiful with generous portions and the soup is wonderfully flavoured. The ingredients are very fresh and I love that they use red onion instead of white. I also love that they open early so I could get pho as a hangover or night shift cure. I don't know about the banh mi or other menu items, but if you're looking for great beef pho, this is the place.

One of the best banhmi in Brissy! We ordered the roast pork, bbq chicken and lemongrass beef. Roast pork was crispy and juicy. The chicken was not dry. And the beef was tender and the lemongrass flavor really shines! For $11 each packed with toppings and meat, def a winner!
Location wise, hoping it was somewhere central.
There are enough space and tables to sitdown!

The best banh mi I've had in a long time, and the Vietnamese iced coffee was excellent! Lots of other tasty items on the menu. It's a small cafe but the staff are friendly & helpful. Lots of little touches like sanitiser on every table make this a really great place.

Legit spot for Bahn Mi. The highlight of the sandwich is the pate. It was like liquid gold. And the bread was fresh with a crispy exterior and soft interior. Baked just right. If you get the chilis, beware, your mouth and something else may be left on fire. 🔥

in a series of wrong turns gone right I ended up right next to this place while craving Bahn Mi (call it what you will. Fate. Probably). It is now 1:18 am and I’m thinking about how damn good the Bahn Mi is. Will be back (even though it’s nowhere near where I live. Worth it). Best Bahn Mi I’ve ever had.

The food and drinks here are amazing. We haf 2 banh mis, 1 bao bun, and a Thai iced tea. It was all excellent. The staff was friendly and very considerate.

Service is fast too! Waited for these about 5-6mins although there are quite a few dine in customers.

During the Covid period I was restricted from going to Vietnam to visit families, friends and spiritual ground benders 😇😄 but luckily I found a corner at at Bowen Hills where I could still some Vietnamese traditional cuisine, fresh Bréguets but most importantly is the filter coffee and sitting on the corner watching life unfolded.

The Banh Mi is amazing here, I always crave it! So many flavours like savoury, tangy, and sweet, with the crunchiest bread rolls all in one. The Banh Mi here is my favourite out of the many Vietnamese restaurants I've gone to! The Bao Buns are sweet, and fluffy with tangy sauces and fresh fillings. The Vermicelli Salads are always colourful and full of flavour, their fresh toppings, like carrot and cucumber, are always crunchy and refreshing. The meat is always juicy and flavourful (they also have vegan options). The Vietnamese ice coffee always hits the spot on a hot day, but if your not in the mood for a coffee I suggest their many iced summer drinks (my favourite being lychee). Always good to support local especially when you can tell they care about the food and its authenticity!

I had a nice bowl of Pho which I really enjoyed. It was a very relaxed and comfy setting. The staff were really welcoming and polite. I enjoyed the atmosphere and would recommend a visit.

Visited the newly opened Banh Mi Corner last week. Super tasty tasty Pho! The soup is beefy and doesnt taste like msg like some of the other vietnamese takeaways i've been to. The noodles were spot on and the vietnamese coffee is on point. I just ordered online on their website and it was easy enough without waiting in line.
