My experience with GVG, particularly the purchase, construction & settlement of my apartment at Renovare, has been very good. The GVG team have conducted themselves very professionally but with genuine care and concern. I would certainly recommend the Group & especially Katrina & Annie. I am happy to discuss my dealings with anyone looking to build with GVG.

Having purchased a property off the plan we could nto be happier with the way things went considering all the issues related to COVID. When compared with other builds happening at this time I beleive they managed the situation exceptionally well. I had several friends and colleagues going through new builds around this time and most people were experiencing delays of around 12 months or worse. GVG were forthcoming with updates and did everything possible to get us into our place by the promised date. I recommend this company.

We have had a good experience in our first home purchase with GVG and love our new apartment! The staff have been friendly through each step of the process and we loved receiving the progress updates each month. There were also minimal delays to the original timeframes given the current construction climate.

We recently moved into Florens at Renovare Yeronga. We love our new apartment and are very happy with our decision to move to our beautiful new home. We have always found the GVG team to be helpful, kind and efficient. They are readily available to answer questions or concerns, and did a wonderful job in individualising our apartment to make it unique for us.

We have recently moved into a unit in Viridi, which is part of the GVG Renovare development in Yeronga. Our interactions with everyone from GVG has been outstanding, from working with their designer at the beginning of the process to sorting out minor teething issues with the construction guys.

We are really happy with our new home and believe that this has come about through GVG's enthusiasm to work with their purchasers from signing the contract to completion, proactively delivering on their commitment to quality.

As such, we would not hesitate to recommend to prospective purchasers that they should invest in a GVG development.

We never envisaged buying off the plan but our experience with GVG, from negotiating our purchase through to occupation has been excellent. The assistance offered and ability to change our floorplan (including moving walls) and choose from a wide range of fittings and fixtures exceeded our expectations. All staff were friendly and responsive. Monthly video walkthroughs/updates were a bonus as was the cooperation of our building foreman, Damon. Despite building material disruptions due to COVID the original completion date was achieved. No complaints whatsoever.

This was the first time I have bought in a new build off the plan so at times the process seemed a bit confusing and complex.

However the professionalism, availability and helpful nature of all the Gardener Vaughan associates I interacted with impressed me tremendously. This continues to be true as of today.

Everything I was told would happen, has. All promises and commitments were honoured.

I wouldn’t hesitate buying from Gardener Vaughan on another new build in the future.

The team here are a very community oriented organisation. The put a lot of work into making sure the community has a voice in their developments and are very active in community events. The team here are building communities, not just structures. They have made significant efforts to maintain the spirit and atmosphere of an area they are developing and have gone to great lengths to help important businesses stay in the area.

Been living here over 4 years and manager is really nice and friendly. Other staff at GVG also very friendly.

I will preface this review with saying the build quality is 5 stars - probably the best you’ll find. And the communication at the back end of the purchase was pleasurable.

Unfortunately at the beginning that wasn’t the case. The whole initial process was awful. I first enquired and was denied a viewing to see the build quality and display unit of the apartments I was interested in. As I was a genuine cash buyer it was insulting. I asked for renders, images, photos - anything to gauge what I would be buying. I asked if I could have an apartment on hold for 24 hours to decide - as I had a lack of information. That afternoon I was basically threatened the apartment would be taken off me if the holding deposit wasn’t paid.

Moving forward to the design process. I was rushed to make decisions, the colour scheme fittings and finishes were shown in a dark room. Which made making decisions very uneasy. And it was only after the consult I found out i was only shown half the changes I could have made. Then was told it’s an extra $500 for a second consult. At this stage I was still asking if I could see a display unit or any renders, images, videos of previous builds. Absurd to think I bought this apartment blind.

After receiving the contract 2 weeks late. I asked what timeframe and dates I need to work to for paperwork. The same sales assistant ignored my emails and after 4 days I received a very threatening phone call where the sales assistant raised her voice saying she will take the property off me again. 4 days is not enough time to read and sign 300 pages and have a solicitor review the contract. At that stage I regretted the purchase.

Upon the build stage, during the times I drove by. Without fail there was always 1 or 2 tradies smoking on my balcony. Which is insulting and I’m sure against OHS.

At handover, the last let down was receiving the keys and the apartment being unclean. It looks untouched after defects and it’s super disappointing to receive such nice apartment that hasn’t been cleaned to a satisfactory condition. Hopefully for future builds GVG receive this feedback well. Regards

Purchased a new apartment which was sold as being "premium living." Soon after moving in the issues arose. Only small problems but annoying. Slow response to complaints and jobs written off even though they were not completed. After constantly trying to get a banging noise fixed in the roof we organised an independent inspection. The result from this inspection was quoted verbally as, "It just a cheap build." Great. We gave and sold. And the noise!

One of the most unproductive, unprofessional and unsafe sites I’ve worked in. Knew what I was going on about with unsafe work procedures, and the “safety officer) ignored my instructions exactly she’d go.. 🤣
