Banter Coffee Kitchen

Banter has been the only coffee shop that I've been going to for years. The coffee is the nicest coffee I have ever tasted and it is consistent with it's incredible flavour. The staff at banter are so lovely and welcoming to whoever stumbles upon there quaint and stunning shop. I have gone here for years and I plan to go here for several years to come 🌻 thankyou for being such an amazing cafe 💗

As a long black drinker, I really enjoyed Banter’s coffee. Lots of body and a small is standard double shot, the way it should be! Service was very friendly. This will be my go-to when I’m in town.

Excellent coffee. Wish they had some breakfast options, even if something simple like a bacon & egg roll or pastry would go really well with their coffee.

Honestly this is the top cafe in Toowoomba! The coffee never disappoints and they care so much about staying local and being sustainable.
They are the absolute best at steaming alternative milks; most cafes leave you with heaps of foam and the milk a bit scorched but all the baristas at Banter can steam almond milk to absolute perfection every time! The staff are always so friendly and keen for a chat; you can tell they really care about creating relationship with anyone who comes in. Quality people making quality coffee.
I'd rate them even higher than 5 if I could!

Banter is the most consistently amazing brew you'll get. The service is always top notch and the community built around this place is warm and welcoming. This is the first and last place I visit when coming to Toowoomba.

Toowoomba has some great coffee shops (Sweet Talk. Ground Up) but if you’re purely after coffee, Banter is the place to go. Flat white (extra shot) was the best I’ve had in a very long time.

Delighted to discover this gem of a cafe. Visited early before the rush and we were able to enjoy a couple of coffees in a very relaxed atmosphere. The coffee by Melbourne roaster Dukes was prepared perfectly. My long black was delicious and clean with a lovely sweet finish. And equally good was the friendly "banter" with Mel our host today. Thank you, we'll definitely be back next time we come to Toowoomba ❤

Such delicious coffee and perfectly made! The service was exceptional also, making it quite the specialty experience. I was so happy to find Banter on our visit from Brisbane. I love trying out different coffee shops on my weekends, but also sticking to my favourites... unfortunately Toowoomba is too far to be on my regulars list, because Banter is definitely in my top coffee shop list.

Best coffee in town by far and a great inviting atmosphere. I’m not super consistent in coming but they remember my name and coffee order and always greet with a smile. Always suggest this place to locals and non locals alike.
