There are absolutely stunning sunsets from the top of the mountain. There wasn't anyone else there when we went. It is very dark with no lighting, tho. Great for photography, not so great for safety. So if you don't do well in the dark, I don't suggest you go along.

Stunning lookout area, with clean toilets, barbeques, multiple picnic tables and areas to sit on the grass. Great views with little info plaques about the nature and surrounds! I love the drive here from Samford, it’s very picturesque 😊

Been wanting to visit for ages. Drove from Northern suburbs up windy roads gradually becoming immersed in nature. Took binoculars. The layout of the lookout is great, lots of little picnic spots where you could happily spend a peaceful day. Although hazy there were great views from the port of Brisbane round to glasshouse mountains and the Sunshine coast in the distance. Redcliffe and Moreton Bay central. Good informative signage. Good accessibility and ample parking, electric bbqs etc. A special place

I had a fantastic time at this lookout! The view of the mountains was awesome, and the availability of the electrical barbecue made it even better. The benches and tables provided a comfortable spot to relax and soak in the stunning scenery. Plus, having a walking track nearby added to the overall experience. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a picturesque spot with great amenities!

Beautifully peaceful lookout. Picnic tables and covered area. Plenty of parking. Coming from Brisbane it is a left turn on a long bend in the road, but comes up quickly. Slow approach is best, if you overshoot there is a pull off straight after. Weekdays are great, busier on weekends. Well maintained, shady and of course magnificent views from the platform and tables.

Is a great place for a picnic as there are several tables with bench seats & toilets. Really nice views from the range to the coast. There is a really good children’s playground too.

Nice place and well maintained facilities. Also a nice bushwalking path with beautiful valley view for fun with family or friends. We went there in a rain and when the fog was on, it liked a place only in your imagination.

Amazing lookout! Been here a couple of times now and my favourite part is the windy, scenic drive up there. Plenty of tables, barbecues, info plates and even bathrooms. Highly reccomend

A wonderful place to be. Our eyes need access to far vision on some days and this is the best place for our eyes to exercise looking far across the mountain ranges and enjoy natures beauty.
The place is well maintained, is kept clean. Has car parking spaces and also BBQ plates for enjoying your picnic with family and/or friends.

Jolly's lookout offers not only a splendor view that looks out across the Moreton Bay region but it offers several hiking trails that are very easy, well suited for families with children and even the elderly.

Walking tracks can be as short as 30 minutes and as long as 4 hours. Trees are wildlife are plentiful and there is no harsh sunlight bearing down on you whole you trek.

There is a barbeque area and picnic tables. The view is amazing and it is very relaxing. Highly recommended for a family outing, or even just for a nice romantic getaway.

Wonderful lookout with views of northern Moreton bay Brisbane and Samford It was named after William Jolly the first Lord Mayor of Greater City of Brisbane who gave permission for the tapas to built up to this point in the 1920 s
There are adequate facilities with electrical BBQ a and tables and chairs shelter sheds and normal flushing toilet s as opposed to earth closets
A couple walking tracks go from here including the 1 kilometre Egerina and the 4 KM Thylogale track to Boombana that winds it’s way through lush subtropical rain forest and open dry forest

If you are looking for a short drive to a lookout around Brisbane, I definitely recommend Jolly's Lookout Point. It has all you need for a relaxing family visit. Beautiful lookout, BBQ area with plenty of covered and uncovered tables, restrooms, and some short bush walking. The weather is absolutely fresh. Just note to set your map to "Jolly's Lookout Point" not "Jolly's Lookout" as the second one is the name of the area, not the Lookout itself.

Great lookout with picnic tables, bbq facilities and toilets. No bubblers, so bring water. No rubbish bins, so bring your rubbish back with you.
It was a warm winter day today, but very cold and windy up there. Be prepared with extra layers.
There's a choice of either a short 1.2km (circuit) walk, or a longer 4hr walk nearby.

With stunning views of course depending on weather and timing, Jolly's lookout has been one of my favourite places for many years for first dates, stargazing and cute picnics while doing art 🎨

What an awesome view of the hills and a valley this place possess. It was cold and windy but the sunset spreading across the sky never looked this good.
