I recently saw Melissa at Body and Birth after having my second baby and cannot recommend her enough! Mel is friendly, warm, and makes you feel extremely comfortable. She is highly knowledgeable about pelvic floor health and great at communicating that knowledge in an easily digestible way. As an added bonus, the space B&B operates out of is really beautiful and welcoming.

I can warmly recommend this practice and Tanja, the Director, whom I saw for an Antenatal consult. The practice is so welcoming - decor, admin, staff that I felt immediately at ease after walking in. I felt like I was waiting for a Day Spa appointment with a T2 tea, diffusers in the waiting room and soft music in the background. Although I was nervous about what to expect during my consult, especially having my pelvic floor assessed, Tanja made me feel immediately at ease. I felt like she really took the time to listen to all of my concerns and provided me with a personalised management plan that was emailed to me (so helpful for the Baby Brain) after our consult. I left with so much information that it exceeded my expectations! I’m so happy I found this place and feel more confident about my pregnancy and pelvic floor already. Looking forward to my next consult!

Tanja provided me with expert physiotherapy advice during and after my pregnancies - both on evidence-based pre-natal care, as well as post-natal return to activities/sport - highly recommend

I can not recommend Body & Birth Physiotherapy highly enough. I started seeing Sami in a proactive approach to managing my pregnancy and also to help maintain some level of fitness when I was given restrictions from my obstetrician. Sami knows my body so well and was really thorough in assessing my aches, pains, and discomfort then applying her knowledge to help me be the best that I could be throughout my pregnancy. My only regret with Sami is that I did not meet her earlier in my pregnancy! She is also really well connected in the pregnancy and birthing space in Brisbane. I have met and utilised some really highly skilled, evidence-based practitioners (e.g., Lactation Consultant, Hypnobirthing Consultants, Doulas, Pregnancy Massage therapists, Osteopathy etc) as a result of her genuine interest in helping me achieve the best pregnancy and labour that I possibly could. Sami is approachable, kind, honest, very highly skilled and networked, and best of all is that she has empowered me to really take a positive approach to my labour which prior to meeting her was a little daunting for me. Don't know what I would do without her.

I have been struggling with pelvic girdle pain throughout my pregnancy although I have been getting regular treatment from my local physio. After seeing Sami, who has a holistic approach to women's health, I have noticed a significant improvement in my pain levels and mobility. I have greatly appreciated her suggestions around what else outside of treatment can assist- eg sleeping positions, belly bands, shorts and streches. I would strongly recommend her services pre and post natal over a regular physio.

Sami is an excellent physio, so friendly and helpful, giving me personalised exercises to help strengthen my core after pregnancy and childbirth. Baby friendly as well, which makes it so much easier to attend appointments. Would highly recommend!

I was fortunate to be able to see what Sami did with my wife Rachel when she was being assessed. Rachel is very strong and moves well, but Sami was able to diagnose and treat some things that could have been a real issue later on.

I really loved her holistic approach and have already referred her to some of my friends who are pregnant so that they don't have to worry about pre-natal or post-natal issues.

Highly recommended.

Getting the opportunity to shadow Sami for a day was such an rewarding experience as a physiotherapy student. Her expertise, knowledge and techniques in the areas of women’s health are incredible and all her patients have the upmost respect and confidence in her ability. Body and Birth clinic has a beautiful, open environment unlike the feel of other traditional physiotherapy clinics and really captures Sami’s welcoming nature. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Sami Cattach. When Sami was in Canada I worked directly with here. She is an incredible dedicated, knowledgeable physiotherapist. I can’t say enough good things about Sami.

I went here for treatment for severe pain in my hips and pelvis resulting from childbirth; the only “treatment” that was done was a brief assessment of my range of motion and I was then told three very basic exercises to do. There was no hands-on treatment whatsoever, and thus no immediate help with my pain at all (which was a stark contrast to treatment I received elsewhere after a prior pregnancy). It felt like a waste of my time and money. I’ve since gone to a different clinic for actual treatment.

I had noticed other reviews of this place were all from quite a few years ago and it seems that practitioner most referenced is no longer there.
