Red Poles

My second time staying here and loving it. Beautiful view from the room, cheap prices, dog friendly and warm staff. It’s 15 minutes from the beach and less than 5 mins from every winery I’ve been interested to visit- perfect. Last time we walked to some wineries which was also so nice and rare! Highly recommend!

Attended a small family wedding and we had a wonderful time. Ros and her team were fantastic and so helpful. The food and wines were delightful and the service 5 star. Highly recommend.

We can’t speak highly enough about Red Poles. An absolutely wonderful place, venue, owner, staff, food and service all 5 star.

We had our small wedding here (a party of 6) at Red Poles under the beautiful peppercorn tree and nothing was too much trouble. Ros, the owner is an amazing person and was always there to offer advice and support especially when the weather turned. Ros couldn’t do enough to make our day perfect for us. They even decorated our wedding cake with fresh flowers from their beautiful garden.

We booked out the B&B which was handy so we were able to have everything onsite - accommodation, ceremony & wedding ‘breakfast’ lunch.

The staff were more than happy to provide us with extra platters of food we could nibble on as we relaxed out on the veranda and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of an evening at Red Poles.

Thanks to Ros and all the staff, with a special mention to Kyana, at Red Poles for making our special day so very special. We will be coming back for our anniversary.

Fabulous staff and delicious food at the cafe, they were very accommodating at near closing time to serve food and wine. The art gallery is a must see!! And it's a doggo friendly venue! Thank you so much for your hospitality 🥰 We can't wait to come back.

We went to see the Yalata art display at the gallery. The art was great. Loved that it is set back from the road. We didn't eat here though.

We had the most enjoyable afternoon at Red Poles on Saturday.
We arrived without a booking, and we had our little dog with us.
We were welcomed to sit undercover in a warm area, with our puppy, this we appreciated very much.
The service, food and wine were fantastic. The girls who served us were very attentive just lovely.

We came to Red Poles for Mothers Day 2023, we had been here before about 3 years ago and loved it! Very friendly staff, wonderful menu and they had it all worked out! Perfect timings between meals, live music, nice grounds to walk around with our daughter and a very relaxed atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely day! We will be back!

The long lunch was absolutely wonderful, I'm now a convert to sashimi which was beautiful, as was everything else we ate. We ended up staying the night in their accommodation and whilst it isn't the Hilton, we loved it's rustic appeal, comfy bed and delicious breakfast, so then had another delicious lunch the next day. The food is the best we have had in the region and the open pretty environment, friendly staff (especially Kat) and the owner all added to our experience. Highly recommend and we will return.

The restaurant is set in a natural Australian setting. Eat outside amongst the trees on a deck or inside where there is also a gallery

Had a lovely time here, had the 5 course feed me menu and was blown away by the quality and creativity of all the dishes. Appreciate how protein focused the dishes were, felt like a good amount of food but not just empty carbs. Would definitely come here again.

Everything I had was delicious, the lamb and the sauce served with it was absolute chefs kiss, loved it! I will absolutely be back and recommend to all my friends, well done, can’t wait to try the new menu.

Live music which mellowed into the background of sunshine vineyards and low level chatter
The friendly staff flittered with passion from table to table with their smiles evident

Perfect! Great atmosphere with chill music, birds chirping and delightful staff, very welcoming and informative about wine and food and history/future of the venue. Lamb skewers delicious, eggplant side also, love the many options for dining, quaint accommodation and Saturday nights sound great. Met the Head Chef Connor, well done Ros and Team!

Sensational ambience and location. Their 7 course degust was very tasty and beautifully presented, and paired wines + cocktail went down a treat. Our waitress was prompt, friendly and informative. A few minor miscommunications around booking and pricing did little to diminish our enjoyment. Recommend this venue.

An absolute delightful place operated by lovely people who really “get” hospitality! We had a family lunch for 25 people, organised on short notice; the food was great, the service superb and the wine list reasonably priced with good variety. Highly recommended.

Lunching at Red Poles was a delightful experience! This venue was a lucky "find" for 3 friends (taking advantage of a rare sunny day in winter) planning to do lunch in the area.
A beautiful country venue with such a choice of places to sit and enjoy a meal, both indoors and out. The menu was superb and we chose 3 separate main course options, all of which were delicious and beautifully presented. Our waiter was great, attentive and experienced with a deep knowledge of all the dishes and a willingness to discuss our choices and offer advice. Totally professional with a country feel and outlook!
We chose and shared an enjoyable bottle of white bubbles over which we vowed to return before long!
Ample parking is provided adjacent.
