Off Piste 4WD Tours

This has to be the No 1 tour of the McLaren Vale. Ben's character is infectious, and he is extremely knowledgeable. There are a few surprises throughout the day that make the experience ultra memorable. The lunch at the homestead was sensational. Thank you to Ben, Mo, Lorraine, and Sally. It was an absolute pleasure to share a meal and interesting conversation. I would highly recommend this adventure.

A truly unique and intimate tour taking in the stunning views deep within the Onkaparinga River National Park. Mixed in with the finest food and a visit to a couple of wineries, this is a fantastic day tour like no other and definitely one to add to the bucket list. Ben is so knowledgeable about the geology and history of the local area and it’s such a treat to have a delicious home cooked lunch by Imogen at their family home. Loved every minute of it!! Thanks Ben, Imogen and Lorraine.

Wow, Ben and Nathan really capped off a great few days in Adelaide. The 4WD adventure tour was definitely the highlight, and a special day to be long remembered. Many unique experiences along the way. The cheese, the wine, the kangaroos, the Koala, the Primo wine tasting, and the surprise lunch.....the piece de resistance. Highly recommend this as a must do when you visit Adelaide.

We did over 20 tours during out 2 month trip in Australia. This was probably our favorite one due to Ben. Loved how it was a small group with just 5 of us in total. Loved hearing Ben's stories and the "secret" last spot to end our tour. If you're going to do a tour in Australia this one is it. PERIOD.

This was a totally unique experience! Ben was our tour guide for the day and he was brilliant … he’s knowledgeable and has a fun personality and great sense of humour. The local produce for morning tea (with wine) was delicious accompanied by Ben playing the didgeridoo … then onto a winery for a tasting followed by a magnificent lunch prepared by Mo, Ben’s partner … the scenery “off piste” , the food, the wine, the whole day was fabulous, thanks Ben (and loved meeting your Mum, Lorraine too) … I can’t recommend this tour enough, just brilliant!

Spent the day with Ben on an exciting adventure. Onkaparinga River national park was amazing. Ben’s knowledge of the area, the animals the history is complete also an Eagle eye spotter of kangaroos.
Spent time wine tasting and a fantastic private lunch at the historical family home. Chef Imogen creations were outstanding
Then a wander about Silver Sands, Maslin Beach and Blanch Point escarpment

Ben has a wealth of knowledge about this area, the aboriginal peoples, the wine and the nature.

It was the best adventure of our time in Australia.

We LOVED our tour with Ben and his family. We got to see the hidden parts of the National park and enjoyed a couple of wine tasting and a delicious food and a drive over the coastline. We will definitely do it again. Highly recommended. Thanks so much again Ben. Legend.

This was an incredible day trip led by Ben. Ben has great knowledge of the region and clearly loves what he does, which makes the experience even better. We visited some wonderful sites in the national parks to explore parts of McLaren Vale and the Fleurieu Peninsula, as well as being treated to some great off road 4 wheel driving. From here Ben took us to a great spot where we had some great wine and snacks whilst he played the didgeridoo. After this we visited a great cellar door at McCarthy's Orchard where we could drink some great wine before being treated to an incredible lunch cooked by Mo. The food was incredible as was the setting and really rounded off a great trip.

Could not recommend this trip highly enough, from the great company, excellent produce and incredible scenery!

Brilliant tour! Ben was a great guide and very knowledgeable and Mo is an excellent chef! Food was top notch. A totally different type of tour to the normal wine tasting tours. An awesome experience shared with Ben and his family. Nature, wine, 4wd all in one package! Great…

We did the Fork & Grape Safari tour with Ben, it was amazing!! Ben was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the area, we were treated like family very personal tour in small group of 7, we were spoiled and treated to delicious food and wine, highly recommend this tour.

What a fantastic day we had! There were 6 of us on a private tour and we had a blast. Ben and Nathan were terrific fun, very knowledgable and went to great lengths to make this experience one we will remember for a very long time. Their hospitality was next level. We had a little wine tasting, 4WD along the beach, saw beautiful scenery and wildlife and even spotted a koala.The lunch experience was very special and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend if ever you are lucky enough to visit Adelaide.

Highly recommend this fabulous day out. It was a wonderful experience with some beautiful scenery, we especially enjoyed the morning refreshment break at the creek, what a setting for our cheese and wine and Ben playing his Didgeridoo. This was followed by a visit to a local winery and then back to the family home where we had a beautiful lunch prepared by Bens mum in a fantastic setting. Thanks Ben for a great day.

We spent an afternoon with Off Piste on the very first day of our Aussie holiday and it was the perfect start to an amazing trip! Ben was awesome to work with, as we had a unique situation in that we were arriving from the US that morning and needed to get to Cape Jervis for a stay on Kangaroo Island. Off Piste was recommended by the lodge where we were staying and were able to not just provide the transfer, but create a great touring experience along the way. Nathan was our guide and took great care of us (including getting us to the ferry on time and even waiting to make sure our luggage made it on the ferry). We were quite lucky with the weather as well and the wildlife was abundant. We got such good koala pictures we seriously didn’t look for any the rest of our entire trip. Our daughter said she saw so many kangaroos on the way to Cape Jervis she stopped mentioning them and was actually disappointed that there were fewer on Kangaroo Island. So - thanks so much to Ben, Nathan and the Off Piste team for going above and beyond to get our family trip of a lifetime off to a perfect start. We can’t recommend them enough!

What a wonderful way to explore the Southern Vales - on Off Piste's 4WD Fork and Grape Safari.
In the capable hands of Ben, our day was one surprise after another, with the off-road experiences taking us places not normally accessible to us.
The stunning views within Onkaparinga River National Park and the panoramic vista from atop the Willuga Hills were breathtaking and highlights of the day.
Ben is a fountain of knowledge of the area and freely imparts all he knows, which added to the enjoyment.
