A great little museum and worth a look while passing through town. There is a cafe next to the museum. Open 7 days. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing. The information centre next to the cafe has brochures for many parts of Queensland.

Very Interesting Museum! You learn a lot about Mack Truck and the Brothers who started it all, along with Learning about Road Trains!

Fantastic museum with loads of displays and lots of history. There are some really well preserved vehicles from years gone by, each with it's own story. Great little Cafe on-site with delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices. Definitely worth the visit!

This is a surprisingly well thought-out little museum tucked into the community centre at Gatton.
The vehicles on display are in excellent condition and have been well restored. The variety of vehicles is great, too, with vintage and more modern trucks on display as well as a crop-duster and a Ford Zephyr and Holden FC ute. There currently is two WWII trucks on display as well. The admission price is fair considering it isn't huge, but well worth it.

I took my 9 yr old son here, who has always loved vehicles, and he absolutely loved it. Although small, there was still many vehicles to see and we really enjoyed our time here.

Didn't have time to take in the museum but did manage afternoon tea in the café.
Vanilla Slice was Australia's No.1, coffee was great and the cup of tea even had tea leaves in it.

Very nice place to stop for information, food or a museum visit. Friendly staff and reasonable prices for the food and the variety of items for sale by local artists and other handicrafts.

Very good. Plenty of interesting vehicles. Worth a visit, especially for those interested in the golden era of car design. The cafe was also incredible. The staff were amazing, they went above and beyond to provide us with an enjoyable experience. Some of the best service I've ever had anywhere.

Really friendly staff, great coffee and a fascinating glimpse into the past of the trucking industry. The restored trucks are a credit to the people who took the time and passion to get the restorations to such a high level. Entry fee is very reasonable at $6.50 and the cafe prices are fine too. There is a bar here also if you like to have a bevvie with your meal. The place is spotless and whilst not overly large is well worth a visit. Cameras are welcome 😁

I had been here multiple times. Lake Apex and the view is awesome. Highly recommended. There are BBQ pits too.

It is a bird sanctuary there around the lake. Go for a walk around.

Note: Please keep calm and avoid disturbing birds. Avoid discarding your waste. Be mindful.
