Bilingual By Five

Our daughter has been at Bilingual By Five (BB5) since she was 6 months old and it was easy to see how excited she was when we arrived every week. And for us, as parents we noticed a huge difference after daycare. Our daughter was more awake, trying different things at home and generally happy.
We are grateful for the time that our daughter was at BB5 in Bao Bao room with all the carers (known as Aunties). Very special thanks go to Mai who our daughter bonded a lot with. Five stars!

Amazing care and attention given to my child. It is also the only daycare that I have seen or heard that gives consistent Mandarin education. Very grateful to have this option, and being central is definitely a great bonus.

My son Benjamin loves this center. He is always happy playing with friendly aunties and has a lot of fun. Nice newly refurbished indoor and outdoor places, aunties with loving hearts....It is a big relief that Benjamin is being looked after by this center.

Nicole is a smart general manager with bright smiles anytime. She is very experienced with running a Child Care with the correct procedures. Benjamin was once infected by virus and affected his breathe, Nicole made very detailed record of the whole afternoon and gave him right first hand medicine, then she called me to take him to hospital Emergency. When I showed those record to doctors, they thought it was made by a nurse:D.

I trust Nicole will lead her team to run this center perfectly.

My son loves going to BB5 (Guai Guai room now). The educators have shown exceptional patience and care towards him. From the management to the services, environment, and food supply, everything at BB5 is reassuring! Educator Charmaine and her colleagues are genuinely love children. Thank you for providing my son with a safe and happy childhood, enabling him to grow up happily.

My wife and I have two children that have been going to BB5 and we couldn't ask for a better daycare. Our son is soon moving from LL to the next room. And our daughter is also learning so much in BB with the variety of activities they provide in a very safe environment and with well catered meals. We highly recommend BB5!

Can't praise BB5 enough. The schedule they have in the rooms are structured and the educators seems invested in each of the child as well. My child attends BB5 just twice a week and has been there for about 3 months. Now he can recite 1 to 10 in chinese PLUS sing the chinese version of 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars'!

My oldest son has been at BB5 since Day 1 when it opened - needless to say this centre has almost become my extended family. When we needed an emergency day here or there they have always been willing to help and without family support in Perth I personally would have been stuck in many difficult situations if BB5 didn't come to the rescue! Over the years we've come to know many Aunties (what we call the carers at BB5) that has not only seen my kids (yes, more than one now) grow up but has really taken care and interest in their development. My son has formed lasting friendships not only with the Aunties but the kids from all his rooms as BB5 is like a community!

Originally we chose this centre for the language background in Mandarin but beyond learning to be bilingual the centre has a structured curriculum that allows the kids to have enough freedom to 'learn through play' but learn everyday independence too. My kids have learnt to feed themselves, wash their hands, understand bathroom manners, get their belongings all of which were taught by the Aunties. The food always smells amazing and the masterchef that has been there since the centre opened just continues to make awesome healthy meals that my kids love (I swear they eat more at daycare than at home!) I have never seen such dedicated workers in my life until you step foot into BB5 - the Aunties are fabulous and deserve medals for their love of the job. Even when some Aunties are meant to finish at 3.30pm they are still there at 6pm to continue to help out as they treat each kid like their own!

My oldest son has had the privilege of going through every room and we've been very fortunate to have Aunties in his current YouYou Room like Aunty Jan and Aunty Rachel who has cared for my son since before he could even walk! I'm looking forward to seeing my next son who is already in BaoBao Room (and maybe my other future kids) go through each room and have the same experience my oldest has had. I love the photo updates, the report cards per semester, the chats at pickup/dropoff that always reassures me that my kids are in the best care possible. No parent should expect anything less of their daycare!

A wonderful experience, the aunties here are very dedicated and patient with the children. As a parent, I am very satisfied with this bilingual kindergarten. Highly recommend.

Big thank you to the aunties at BB5. Our daughter started childcare just after 6 months and she is over 2 now, graduated from Bao Bao room to Le Le Room. The aunties are very friendly and engaging. You can see their passion through their smiles everyday and they make sure to tell you about the kids' progress/achievements and stories for the day. We also love reading about the fun activities they did everyday at BB5. I am also amazed how much Chinese our girl has learned at BB5. Food smells really good everyday when you drop the child in. Great management team too, helpful and is always there (8am or 6pm, there is always someone there to help with admin, which is wonderful)!

Special mention to the Super Stars aunty Charmaine, Rachel, Yirou, Youning, Jan and Aunty Amelia for the yummy food everyday!

My son is in BaoBao room of BB5 and he loves it. The educators are loving and caring. They go the extra mile to support all aspects of his development. Also the meals are delicious and nourishing. Cannot be happier with BB5! A big thank you to all the aunties of BaoBao room, aunty Amelia in kitchen and also all the supportive and welcoming Directors and Admin staff!

We highly recommend BB5. The bilingual aspect is a bonus, but more importantly we know our son is well taken care of while we are at work.

BB5 is such a wonderful centre! The staff are so kind, caring and compassionate and have become like family to us now. We love that the centre is bilingual, we as parents have learnt so much and it’s amazing to see how much of the language the girls have learnt and understand.

Our eldest daughter has been attending for the past 3.5 years and has received such exceptional care from all Aunties and Uncles within the centre. She’s learnt so much during her time at BB5, especially this past year in You You room. They have such a fun and diverse learning environment and have provided her with the foundations for starting kindy next year.
Our youngest daughter has recently joined Bao Bao room and has received such a warm welcome from the Aunties which has helped her settle in with ease.
I know she’ll enjoy her time throughout the centre just as her big sister has.

The daily stories provide so much insight into the girls days, it’s so nice to see what they’ve been up to and summative assessments show their progress throughout the year - such great communication with parents!

Uncle Joel, Aunty Catia and Aunty Maria are always so kind and friendly. It’s lovely to see their smiling faces in the mornings and afternoons. Truly can’t fault the care BB5 provide and couldn’t recommend them highly enough, thank you all!

BB5 is such an incredible, nurturing environment for children. Our son has thrived in his time in the You You room and often asks to stay late or go in on days when he does not have daycare. We are deeply grateful to the aunties (and management) for how above and beyond they go in creating such a positive environment.

We are so glad that we came across BB5. Our daughter has been attending the center since she was 14 months old. Fast forward 4 years later, she is now in You You room and the care and love she receives is exceptional. The Aunties and Uncles care for the children as though is their own. There is no doubt on the passion and love the aunties and uncles have for the children.

We love how the center has a structured learning program and our daughter has learnt so much from it. Reciting Chinese poems since she was 3 years old really impressed us. We also love the updates we receive everyday through the app. The meal time pictures are one of my favourite.

We would like to give appreciation to Auntie Amelia as well, who works tirelessly in the kitchen everyday, cooking all the yummy food for the children. Our daughter is being fed better in the center than at home!

Also appreciation to Auntie Maria, Auntie Catia and Uncle Joel for always being so approachable and patient with all of our queries.

My son has been at BB5 for one year and 3 month. He enjoys the time spending there. Aunties and uncle from Lele room takes him well. I can see that my son trusts them and is happy every time I pick him up. Big thanks for the effort done by all at BB5 to create a great environment for my son. Merry Christmas and see you next year.

We have been at BB5 since it opened and really appreciate the caring, nurturing, dynamic environment of the centre. Two of our girls have been through all the rooms from Bao Bao through to You You. We have felt that all staff have been caring and supportive at tough drop off days, been good at communicating with us, and helped our girls learn in both Mandarin and English. Also, we are always amazed with the wonderful variety of fresh food that the kids eat from the kitchen. Not to mention, the admin staff behind the scenes are efficient and always available to listen to our concerns. Thanks BB5!

My daughter started here in February and we are so grateful for the aunties in Bao Bao room for taking such good care of her. It’s often hard when your child starts daycare for the first time but Bao Bao room leader Amy and the team have been so reassuring and supportive. She has grown so much at Bilingual by five not just in her mandarin but in all aspects of her development. The way she often talks about the aunties when she’s not at daycare is evidence of how fond she is of them. The office, management and kitchen team are also really helpful and fantastic at what they do.

My almost 2 year old has been going going to BB5 for a year new and she has loved it! Her aunties are warm, interested in her as a person and provide lovely feedback about how she’s going. The kitchen and admin staff have been great too! We have been extremely pleased with our experience.

My son starts his daycare since two in BB5. Now he is in guai guai Room. I would like to appreciate all staff from Guai Guai room this year and my son has absolutely had wonderful time in BB5. All teachers and staff are very nice and kind. I found my son also learnt a lot both English and Mandarin from daycare. He is turning into kindy next year and BB5 has given great transition education for him to easily starts his kindy in school. I got many support from the centre and be able to go work without any worries. Highly recommend to parents who wants children learn the second language.

Our son has been attending Bilingual By Five (Baobao class) since February and we are so happy with everything! All the aunties are super friendly, genuine, seem to love spending time with the children and are keen to help with their development! The activities are so interesting and we love receiving the updates with the hundreds of pictures every day. They even send us end of term reports for an 18 month old! Our son has grown so much since he’s started and he knows all these Chinese words (we don’t speak Chinese at home so it can only come from daycare) and the names of all his daycare friends - he literally names them the night before as he’s excited to see them again. Thanks for everything you guys do - and we are excited for the new term in 2023.
