Came to visit the place twice. Passionate owner, he is also a luthier. Very good music store, especially for guitar. Wide range of guitar collection, from electric to acoustic. Very good amps collection. Met the other guy on my second visit, have a good chat, very welcome to all customers.

I bought guitar strings for my son, unexpectedly there was no installation fee. Good service. Thank you🥳🥳

Been to the store multiple times as a beginner guitarist. All the employees I've chatted with have been super helpful and have taken their time to explain in depth answers. Whether it's asking about simple ukulele strings, pedals to what I should learn next. I would highly recommend going to this store for good one on one help with anything guitar related :)

Great place for just about everything you need. Lovely, friendly customer service, courtesy of Rob. Had a breeze trading in an amp for some new gear. Felt like visiting some mates.

My daughter snapped a string and was devastated that she'd have no guitar all weekend. We dropped down to Guitar World and she got it back, all clean and restrung in less than an hour! She was so happy. Outstanding, friendly, knowledgeable service. Will go back for sure.

My first experience with these guys was many years ago when I traded my gibson joan jett melody maker for a lovely esp 1000 les paul goldtop in imacculate condition i was happy with my experience there I found the owner to be very polite and helpful. Couple years later i went back into the shop to look at what they had i was really looking for a fender and found many to chose from but there hanging on the wall among many other collectable old vintage Japanese guitars was a mint condition tokai st japanese strat.. I bought it and it was a very lovely strat at a great price. I have since returned again after a usa fender and found a beautiful fender elite I had to have so I laybuyed it using an old Japanese guitar i had in my collection and got a fantastic price for it. I have since returned just yesterday and used another old Japanese guitar to get much needed quick cash and some more off my fender laybuy. I am in the market for a new amp and the owner who is a great guy and treats his customers with curtosy and respect allowed me to try every amp out in the shop i wanted and i found the one I wanted. Every experience ive had in guitar world Cannington has been a pleasant one and I love the collection of old and rare guitars they have. Im a songwriter who records many genres of music and im always looking for a new sound you can find all of my music on my facebook account Jamon Allan Hartzer.. I have over 500 recorded complete songs feel free to friend me.. Anyway guitar world has earned thrmselves not only 5 stars but a loyal customer who will now only buy from them and I will tell every guitarist I know that guitar world Cannington is the place to go. Thanks very much for a great service. Took my guitar in for restring and set up. Thought the quoted price was a bit steep but went for it anyway. Picked up today, feels like a different guitar. Fantastic. Glad I spent the money.

After my stuffing around they set up my 79 Antigua Strat and it’s back to as good as the day I bought it 40 years ago. Fantastic job and a great luthier. Cheers guys.
