There is no selling pressure here as the wines speak for themselves. We bought 2019 Viogner 2018 O'riada Shiraz 2018 Shiraz Viogner all up 6 bottles.
This is a must for wine lovers both new and experienced.

A superb wine tasting experience - a must stop place if you are in the Yass Valley area. Very nicely set up with outdoor seating overlooking the vineyards, our host Harry was simply outstanding. Knowledgeable & service oriented, he ensured everyone was well looked after & presented the wines beautifully. The setting, ambience & overall mood was perfect for an afternoon of tasting the excellent wines (which are served on Qantas First & Business). Kudos to the vineyard & its team!

One of the best wineries in the country. The Shiraz Viognier is an iconic wine that changed the face of Australian wine making. The cellar door is airy, breezy and the staff are extremely knowledgeable about their product and everybody had a smile on their face! A great place, a great cellar door.

Really nice vineyard! We did a free tasting and tried 7 wines. The wine was very good, I loved their Shiraz. The staff was really really friendly and took the time to take care of us and really explained us about the different wines. I really recommend it.

Clonakilla is a clear standout in the Canberra region. Be sure to book a tasting at this winery the cellar door as it gets popular, for good reason. There’s high quality wines on offer. The tasting is free and staff here are well prepared, they provide you with an enjoyable experience and you are sure to purchase some of their great wine. All of the wine we tried at Clonakilla was stunning. Known for their reds, we also thought the whites were quite exceptional. Their Reisling is quite sweet with oily mouth feel. The Chardonnay was one of our favourites, on the nose it is buttered toast and the flavour very nutty and toasty.
Their Voigneir was quite floral and sweet. Their Hilltop shiraz was another favourite, floral with winter berries and certainly is great value. Their world renowned Shiraz Voigner is a delicious wine, complex sweet and savoury with a nice earthiness.

The winery itself is also stunning. The space is large and has a lovely outlook on the vine clad hills. As you sit inside, you’re surrounded by local stone, reclaimed timbers, wine barrels and a large central fireplace. It’s homely, comfortable and a top place to add to your list.

Legendary winery established by John Kirk. Rob showed us the wines on a glorious sunny day. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My dog snoozed contentedly at our table. If you are touring the Canberra region wineries then this is a must stop. The 2014 Shiraz Viognier is one of Australia's great wines.

We went there as part of the Stomp festival. I knew the wines before but being able to sample 8 different "cru", one of them being a vintage one, was a wonderful experience. Beautiful scenery, amazing wine and knowledgeable staff.

Our party of six visited the cellar door on a Monday morning in February2021 when it was very quiet.
The vintner, Robert, was very affable and made us feel very welcome. He shared his knowledge of wine making generously and gave us an unhurried, educational and most pleasurable wine tasting experience. Our visitors from Sydney enjoyed the morning and had a most memorable time.

Pleasantly welcomed by Rob who walked us through the flight of wines we chose, and he shared a wealth of info about each wine and the vineyard. A must to visit if you have an hour when in Canberra.

Very pleasant setting, great indoor and outdoor seating. Staff were friendly, polite and easy to chat to. Wines were worth heading out for, especially the Shiraz Viognier (which was also part of the tasting which was a nice surprise)

A free wine tasting for 8 wines (5 whites, 3 reds). Amazing that they do not charge. Known for their viognier grape variety and one of the top 20 wineries in Australia. Beautiful room, service and atmosphere along with award winning wines.

Amazing wine tasting with the owner's daughter. She was very friendly, interesting to talk to and we enjoyed discovering the family history behind the winery. Their Shiraz is worth the visit. 👌

Having been to plenty of wineries, this is so far my favourite one.
The whole cellar door is set up nicely with both indoor seating and outdoor seating areas. People who work here are genuinely kind, enthusiastic and welcoming. My partner and I and our two doggos were so welcomed here and we were so happy with this experience.
The wines here were absolutely amazing especially the viognier was a must try. Beautiful and charming on the palate.

We went for a wine tasting shortly after COVID restrictions lifted in June. We were lucky to get our booking as they fill up fast. The staff are friendly and highly knowledgeable about their wines. They had a beautiful range of wines from light and crispy to bold and dry. The tasting does go for a full hour and the staff do not rush you through it, so I would be mindful you don't book your next tasting too soon after.
