The Crossing Cafe

Visiting here from the Gold Coast and this little cafe is hands down one of the best we’ve ever been too. Food was sensational, the kitchen obviously put so much thought and effort in - and they delivered when I asked for extra crispy bacon!! The staff are super accommodating and so welcoming and friendly, we will definitely be coming back.

We stayed overnight and wanted to contribute to the local economy and decided to come here for breakfast. OMG! So glad we did. The servings were very generous, the food was super tasty and the service was great. I highly recommend the Crossing Cafe and we will make a detour to come here again next time we are going past!!

Atmosphere as you walk in is great. Simple, modern and open. Food was done well and coffee better than average. Service was friendly but limited as was not greeted on entry and we found our own seats.

They serve a tasty and presentable high quality breakfast and smoothie ever. I am very pleased. Thank you for your professionalism.

The coffee here is amazing! It goes down very smoothly, it's consistently delicious and gets me through the day. The ladies that always serve me are super sweet and accommodating.

I would 110% recommend coming here for breakfast if you are in Alstonville!

I feel very lucky to have such a great cafe in the neighbourhood. The staff are very friendly and take good care of their customers. I love starting my day with one of their delicious coffees and a friendly chat. These girls and guys know their stuff. I definitely recommend them. The food selection is really good and it's the place I take family and friends to.
There's always a group of familiar faces, we go back because we love it.

This cafe is run exceptionally well! It has a diverse menu with great options for all that are delicious at a good price! I often dine in here and the staff are always a treat to deal with. I highly recommend this cafe if you are looking for great coffee and something yummy to eat in a great atmosphere! Thankyou Darren for creating something so special!

Everything came out so quickly. The coffee was absolutely perfect with just the right amount of honey (oat latte with honey) and the Eggs Benedict was awesome. Eggs cooked to perfection. Spinach just wilted. I even enjoyed the roast tomatoes which I usually hate. I'd definitely stop here for breakfast again

Without a doubt, one of my favourite places to go for incredible coffee, amazing food and fantastic service from a wonderful group of people. A big shout out to Darren - you've created something pretty awesome here with The Crossing Cafe!

It's an excellent menu, seem to be some nice variations, and the coffee is tops. The staff are particularly nice, personable, friendly. It's my go-to for breakfast in the area.

Highly recommend The Crossing Cafe. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Ordered salmon eggs. The rosti & dill sauce was so good. Superb fresh smoked salmon. First time too trying Nat's coffee roast. Friendly hosts. 10/10. Thank you. Lovely holiday experience.

We were looking for good breakfast and stumbled across this place. What a find! Great coffee and awesome gourmet egg and bacon roll. Definitely recommend this for anyone who wants a delicious brekkie at a good price!

Do you want waffles? Come here! Beautiful waffles, set out like a piece of art. I'd recommend adding bacon, it adds a great combination of Salty and Sweet.

The Barista knew what she was doing, the waitress was lovely and polite and the owner was engaged with many of the customers, this felt like the locals Cafe.

Great 'Crossing salad'! I added greek lamb and it was beautiful! Great amount and the dressing was super yummy. Sweet potato fries were to die for. The service was great and a quick turn around for food. You should definitely visit for a great feed

Drove an hour and it was worth the drive. Nice coffee, nice bacon and egg roll, but the best waffles ever with banana, strawberries blueberries and syrup.

Breakfast until 12 noon, good variety. Nice indoor and outdoor seating, the place has been re-decorated and the staff are friendly and efficient. Sign in with a pen or use QR code.

The crossing is one of a couple of local cafes with great service from lovely people who go above and beyond just because they're nice. Good offer and simple but yummy breakfast and lunch menus with handy daily specials.
Right next to Federal Hotel. Handy for public transport and on weekends easy parking on main st or park at rear Carpark and access through walkway into cafe directly.
