YWAM Townsville

Doing a DTS through YWAM Townsville changed my life in the best way... it was an environment where I grew so much and learned so much in only 5 months and I got to meet some of the most amazing people who now will be my lifelong friends! People can always find something to complain about in anything, but it's our choice to choose joy and to be thankful so that's what I did. These types of experiences are ones where you're only going to get out what you're willing to put in (that's how our life with the Lord is)! Are we willing to give everything to The Creator? Are we willing to make sacrifices and lay it down at the cross? Those should be the questions we ask ourselves. Everyone will have a different experience with YWAM (or missions in general) because of our obedience and willingness to grow and change and develop! :) Let's be willing!!

What to say about YWAM Townsville...

Well, from friendly staff to life changing speakers and the infamous DTS, this base has a LOT going for it. Working with and on the medical ship was a privilege and anyone hesitating about doing a DTS should stop. Just do it.

This base allows personal growth and is one of the main reasons that I am able to now live my life to the fullest. Community and a common goal.

I did my dts here and had an incredible growing experience. It feels like a family, with wonderful staff who are passionate about seeing you grow and seeing what God has for the ministry itself

Love this place. First came out here 8 years ago and still going strong! Feels like home :) I've been equipped and part of something way bigger than myself.
