Fantasy experience. I went in with an idea of what I wanted and, not only did Stuart not try talk me into something more expensive, but took the time to find what sounded good to my ears and even cost me less than I was originally looking at.
I’m very happy with my new hifi set up.
It sounds amazing and now I know who to talk to when I’m ready to grow my set up.
I highly recommend The Audio Tailor, especially if you’re new to vinyl like I was.

Fantastic collection of serious toys, especially if your pockets are deep and you like high end quality. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable team. And my new speakers are awesome and fit in perfectly with my existing system.

I dropped in last week and was very happy with the level of service I received. Nathan (I think) was keen to help me out, even with my limited budget. Plenty of display stock and knowledgeable staff. What more could you want? Hugo welcomed me in but didn't say much.

Went to the audio tailor today looking for the Rega Planar 1 turntable. I didn't catch the name of the guy that helped me out, but he was so awesome!

He showed me a couple other turntables that were similar to the Rega Planar 1, explaining the different characteristics of them and gave me genuine advice on setting up my first hifi system. He talked me through so much and got me really invested. I felt like I had a personal consultation, which was great

He taught me how to keep my turntable clean so it sounds it's best too.

I've been dying to listen to my dads Pink Floyd vinyls, so I went home a very happy girl

Brilliant experience - very friendly, heaps of knowledge on offer, quality equipment, great sound room(s) and no pressure. I called up and spoke with Nathan who had already given me some great ideas before I even got there. When I arrived the shop was a little busy but I was acknowledged and got to as soon as possible. There was no impatience and no hard sell, and Stuart even helped me take some things over to the car when he saw I was struggling. Came into the store for a small item but was given a demo of a few things that I was browsing and then told I could have a look at everything upstairs if I wanted. This is great. No pushy sales people trying to move me along. Hearing better equipment is a good way to inspire me to save a bit more and upgrade.

My Marantz SR8015 arrived yesterday and has been up and running for almost 24 hours. The audio and video quality from this unit is absolutely amazing. I am extremely pleased with the purchase. Thanks to Vaughan and the team for making this experience exceptional from start to finish. Although there were some supply chain issues that delayed the arrival, Vaughan worked tirelessly with the supplier to source me a unit as soon as he could and kept me informed throughout the process. I am still discovering all of the functionality that the SR8015 offers but am very happy with the quality and results it delivers. I cannot recommend Vaughan and The Audio Tailor highly enough. We dropped in to buy couple of small speakers and after seeing the beautiful Wharfedale Elysian 4 speakers we asked to have a listen. Knowing we wouldn't be buying them we were still given front row seats for a demo. Great service.

We needed a new lid for our Rega turntable and our experience with The Audio Taylor was so easy. Great service and excellent communication from the team. The bonus was meeting the resident pooch Hugo when we picked up our new lid from Murarrie!

From initial phone call to visit to the shop the service was excellent. I am no audiophile and was not after a major purchase but that was not an issue and good information was provided without having to ask.
And if I was an audiophile this is where I would go. They have a great set up where you will be able to test run the top line products in comfort.
