Professional Owner whose integrity seems to exude from him and is reflected in his staff,and facilities.I'm not saying he's a perfect human being,but that he and his business reflect alot of traits that I look for in service oriented
enterprises that lend confidence in engaging with.
To me,the owner of Matt Burgess Car Repairs,is a decent man and one whose character is a standard of bygone decades.

Protective coat repair to the roof was very well done. I was looking for any overspray or other marks in general, but found none. I was kept up todate with progress.
Time factor was also good considering that other customers needed to be services also. I would use Burgess Motors again and recommend their repair work.

HUGE thank you to they guys at Burgess Motors. I was having trouble with my car overheating this morning and they helped me out straight away, diagnosed the problem, fixed it, took it for a test drive and charged me nothing! Now its running like a charm :) best service I've ever had.

I have used Burgess Motors for many years for my car servicing, they do a great job, very informative and my car gets a wash and a vacuum too.

Bought a car from these guys. Apparently, it was serviced but car is saying otherwise when it is way to early to show. Only gets driven on an island and not very long distances.
Secondly, I complained about some knocking in car when I got it, again they checked and say it's nothing to worry about. Yet my mate has some model car and it doesn't knock like that.
Now we are having electrical issues with car. Battery has been charged twice, once in normal mode then in repair mode. For some reason battery goes completely dead overnight.
Local community centre paid for a new battery for me as myself and son are disabled and wife cares for us and these guys knew that and took all our savings.
If new battery doesn't solve electrical issue, I will go through Fair Trading to have it repaired as we have Lemon Laws in Qld

Scammers. Rude and arrogant. And the reception staff no better. Would not recommend at all. We were desperate at the time, car was towed there (closest mechanic)and knew straight away that it would be a negative experience, it was. They quoted the issue and after questioning them and asking for photo evidence, we were ignored, and then the quote was dropped to half the original amount. I'm sure they scam many others. If you're after an honest genuine reliable mechanic, avoid this work shop.

My boat trailer wheel bearings had blown out on one side, and I had it towed to Burgess Motors. Firstly, I didn’t receive any calls to update me with a quote, or the progress, until it had been with them for 2 business days. I had to continually phone them for updates on my trailer. I dropped it off on Friday and it wasn’t ready for pick up until the following Wednesday afternoon. In the end, I was charged $390 to fix the trailer bearings on one side only. How that price is justified is beyond me. This is clearly not an emotionally charged review, it simply states the facts. I wouldn’t recommend Burgess Motors to my mates though, put it that way.
