Pinwheel Island Kids Cafe

Great little place for the kids and parents! I went on Wednesday morning it’s was relatively quiet and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the whole venue, varieties and quality of food and drinks. My coffee was great as you would get at cafe. Really appreciated that under 24th months area has the gate so I can just sit on the comfy chair right in front of the play area and enjoy my coffee while my son was having so much fun. We will definitely return.

Came here with my 10 month old. He had so much fun. Lots of different things to play with. The man working was super friendly and the food was amazing! I had the big breakfast, it was so tasty and really good value! Highly recommend this place!

My new go-to place for the kids! It's small but great for my 2 year old and 3 year old. I was able to allow them to run off on their own while I actually got to stay seated and enjoy my coffee for the first time ever!! Kids' meal deal is fantastic for the price - nice to see different options other than the usual nugget and chips

My favourite kids play cafe for toddlers, facilities and play area are geared towards younger kids and spacious dining area where parents can see the whole play area while sitting down.

I’ve been here on weekdays and Sundays and it rarely gets very busy and the food options are great too with healthy options like veges and fruit for the kids served in a appealing car tray.

Staff are dedicated to keeping the area clean which is a plus as well, I’ve come early before and watched them disinfecting the place.

My young boy loves coming here and it's a great way to spend a couple of hours.
Clean facilities and decent food available at reasonable prices.
Staff are friendly and accommodating. Never had any issues going to Pinwheel.

This is a fantastic place for younger children. I went today with my children aged 3.5 and 1.5. It was clean and peaceful without the often chaotic and overstimulating atmosphere of other indoor play centres. The equipment was well maintained and there was excellent potential for pretend play. My kiddos especially enjoyed the mini cafe with full kitchen of fake food and cooking equipment. The only downside is that it is quite small for older children and I wouldn't expect it the play area to hold the interest of children older than 3/4 for any big length of time. Absolutely perfect for babies and toddlers though!

I enjoyed the best value meal for children I have encountered anywhere with a choice of main, sides and drink and it came in a tray shaped like a car which was very cute. The healthy options were simple and much appreciated. I was also impressed with how comfy the seating was!

This place is great for kids, just the perfect size for you to be close enough but be able to enjoy your coffee. The place is very very clean and the club sandwich was the best I’ve ever had 10/10. I found out of all the kids cafes I was able to relax the best as I could see my child at all times and enjoy great coffee and amazing food. Hidden Gem 💎

We took our 14-month granddaughter. She loved it. It was a Saturday afternoon.They only charged for the child.Adults went in free. There were playspaces for different age kids. Our granddaughter loved it.

It’s the first play centre we have been to, and my little boy loves it! He’s been to a few, but this one would be our (my) favourite!

It’s clean (take off shoes at the gate) and very kids friendly. Some kids might fine it a little bit ing, as it’s nothing crazy, but my boy (2YO) just stays in the ball pit most of the time, so it’s ok for us 🤣

Food is also very nice!

Best playground for younger children you can find in the area. It's not too busy and it's a smaller size so it's so much better for younger children. The equipment is very she appropriate which is awesome, and my children love the ball pit. And hubby likes to hop in there with them and throw the balls at the game on the wall. My 4mth old also enjoys doing his tummy time in the under 24mth area, lots to look at play with. The whole area is safe, and it's completely squishy mat or lino which is good for slips and trips. The food is so good! We don't usually have to wait long and it's always delicious! We love this place will come back again and again

Fantastic venue, had a gr8 1st impression from how tidy Pinwheel is. A lot tidier than other kids playcenters, and the equipment and toys are in good nick. Staff friendly and the chips are quite good :) The kids meal for $12 was exceptional value, my child devoured it. The best bang for buck was that my child fell asleep soon after due to having so much fun!!

I love the cosy space. It's so nice to be able to see my child no matter where they are in the centre. The facilities are always clean and well looked after. The coffee is tasty and they have a good variety of food options for a reasonable price. I can't fault them and I always find myself coming back.

Great hidden place to take to the kids! Ample seating with seats close enough to watch the kids. Lovely staff and delicious coffee!

We had lovely experience at Pinwheel Cafe. It was super busy on the weekend, as expected. The tables and play area were clean. The service was friendly and drink order was quick. They were a bit slow cleaning up the tables, probably can do with another staff. Overall pretty happy with our visit.

A fun indoor playground for younger children. The bonus is the food is great with healthy options that are practical for kids and parents (would love a vegan and gluten free option). Staff made a fuss at Easter with an amazing Easter egg hunt.

Visited for the first time today and my daughter loved it. She is 14months old and was able to play with everything. Its the perfect play cafe for little ones. Very very clean! We attempted to visit a larger indoor play area beforehand and it was packed and absolute mayhem. So glad I found this one on google as it was more suitable for little one and very relaxed and comfortable. Not overwhelming or overstimulating. Didn’t purchase food or drinks so can’t review that. As for negative reviews about socks… it clearly says that info on the website so not sure what that’s so upsetting to people. Staff were nice. We will return.

Great venue for kids party! The play centre is clean and updated. Pinwheel Cafe contacted couple of days before the event to confirm and gave us enough time to set up for our party. My sons party theme was Thomas and friends. The lovely staff offered to play Thomas and friends videos on the 2 big screens during the party. There were plenty of tables and chairs for all the guests. The staff is very helpful and provided us with great customer service. Couldn’t ask for more. I highly recommend this play centre.
