Had a very helpful young bloke help us when we were buying stuff for a trip to Tassy. Should've got his name to give good feedback.

The staff here are very friendly, knowledgeable and provide excellent service! They even took the time to track down some pants at another store for me which was greatly appreciated!

Great experience recently when buying puffer jackets - for longevity, not washing in normal detergent and storage. This was explained wonderfully to ensure I got a long life out of my product. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Will come again for sure, thanks

I have become a big fan of Kathmandu!! I bought campingstuff as well as clothes, they are from high quality, thought through and absolutely enjoyable while using :).
The staff was always friendly and on point.
And to be honest its still cheap for what they offer (but psst, dont tell them!)

I have spent most of the day talking to other camping stores about replacing my tent poles with little success, that is until i spoke to Trish at Kathmandu. Her expert knowledge and proffessional conduct was second to none, with nothing being too much to ask. She spent time explaining what i needed before finding the excact right product, not once but twice in one afternoon. Customer service is spot on in this store! Thank you Trish for all your help.

While holidaying in Townsville I went into the store to purchase some more of my favourite shorts. I was told that that style was not being made anymore but they did have some old stock on special. Alas, not in my size.
The store manager was extremely helpful and rang a couple of stores in my home state and organised for the shorts to be sent and held at my local store. This required several phone calls and emails.
I made a second visit today to organise for a pair of cargo pants (of the same style) to be sent to that same local store.
Full marks for friendliness and customer service.

Went on the right day, we got 4 items on clearance cheaper than one full price item. Store was clean, including change rooms and well stocked with friendly staff 👍

Great staff and great quality winter gear!

I especially recommend heading to their clearance shelves at the back of the store for really cheap down products.

Lots of great options for travel gear - definitely not cheap, but good quality gear, and if you time the sales right, you can pick up some great bargains.
