Merinda Village Hotel

Hidden away behind the BP servo, this little pub has great service n unbelievable feeds plus nice cold beer.
We were travelling with a group of 6 blokes n not one person had anything bad to say about their steaks or parmis. With Keno n the Tab to go along with it, Merinda Village Hotel was a Great spot to pull in and have lunch.

Stayed here quite a few times. Was for work. Other than one morning the restaurant wasn't open so no breakfast and no packed lunch it was brilliant. On that note too we rang the pub before lunch about the breakfast and they not only did a packed lunch for us but a burger and chips with a drink that none of us could finish as they were that big. Not much on the family side to report but it's a basic great quality accommodation and pub set up for everyone.

Meal was excellent, service was quick, food was best we've had for a long time, staff are amazing

For a 3 star hotel, I’d give my experience 5 stars. I came during a time where the A1 was flooded and roads were closed and they handled everything with grace and patience. Good pub and bistro too. Clean rooms. Slightly outdated but overall a good place to stay

Stayed at the Merinda Village Hotel last night. This was not planned, but the roads were flooded and we could not get through. It was a blessing to be here!
Donna and the team did an AMAZING job of looking after everyone. The hospitality, rooms and food were fabulous!
A big shout out to the locals too, and the local tradies. They all pulled together to help the kitchen staff, even offering up rooms to elderly ladies due to room shortages with the huge amount of people that were stranded!

Stuck on the road between Townsville and Airlie Beach, got caught in the floods. Luckily we got stuck outside Merida Hotel. Had been on the road for 8hrs with all the road closures. The lovely staff were handing out complimentary toasties until they ran out. Such amazing people! Please pop in and support these guys!

The best by far for entertainment around the bowen area, who can beat kareoke with Paul Samuel or entertainment with alissa q?... a safe environmont where you can be who you are and enjoy a safe night out. Absolutely the best.

Neat and tidy rooms, wonderful staff, tasty food. 2 nights of restfull sleep, well looked after by staff. What more could a girl ask for, extremely happy with my stay.

Accommodation was great, staff were excellent and very helpful. Meals were really good, i enjoyed my week there. Thanks to a job well done guys

A Great night at Merinda Village Hotel, the band Soul Survivors back to the 60's night was a fund raiser for Whitsunday Suicide Preventon, every one dance and sang was lovely to see everyone having a great time 🙂

With 4 couples we had dinner at the restaurant , we all thought the meal was delicious , Beautifully presented, the staff were very efficient and couldn’t be more helpful. Would thoroughly recommend The Melinda Hotel.
